"Patticakes!" Emile giggled as he and Patton slammed into each other hugging like no tomorrow. "When you said you were coming to see me I didn't realize it would be so soon!"

"Yeah, well Janus had a few things he needed to ask you." Emile frowned in confusion as he looked over to see Janus wave slightly. "Plus, I thought it would be could to introduce you to the man I've been dating for a few months now."

"Well, It's nice to meet you, Janus." Emile smiled as he offered his hand to shake although the other never really took it. He just held his phone as tightly as he could at an odd angle but no one really noticed. "I'm not sure what exactly I could do to help but..."

"I just need confirmation." Emiles eyes went wide as Janus spoke hesitantly. "Roman... He mentioned you were his doctor."

"Janus, I'm sorry, but anything told to me in confidence I cannot share." Janus just shook his head as he held his phone up a bit higher, catching Emiles eyes.

"I don't need to know what was said. Just that he does go to therapy."

"Again I can't divulge that information. I'm under doctor-patient confidentiality. The only one that can give you that information is Roman himself." Janus groaned as he curled up a bit in frustration.

"He has." Emile frowned hearing how shaky Janus's voice was. "Roman has many times stated he had therapy. He's the one that told me you were his doctor. I said that didn't I?" Patton nodded as Janus swallowed his anxiety. "The problem is I need confirmation."

"And something I cannot provide. I am under oath to not give out any personal information that could jeopardize the wellbeing of another. I'm sorry." Emile started to turn away only to freeze at the look in Patton's eyes. He slowly turned back to see Janus crying and his heart broke. "I'm sorry, Janus but..."

"I don't need to know what he said. I don't even need to know if he's your patient... or how long he's been seeing you. I don't need ANY other information other than that he does in fact go or went to therapy at anytime this past year." Emile's expression softened as Janus's hands shook. "I just need to know that he was telling the truth. It's important. He has to know Roman didn't lie to him." Emile's eyes went wide as Janus choked a bit. "He has to know Roman didn't lie... that he never lied to him. Please. Please just confirm Roman has gone to therapy. That's all I need from you."

"Roman? Are you up?" Virgil knocked softly waiting to hear if there was a response. "I made you some food. I... I didn't want you to not eat so... Roman?" Virgil gently pushed in the room only to stop at the sight of the other curled up in bed. "Well, at least I know my blanket is being put to use." Virgil chuckled a bit as he walked over just to make sure Roman didn't have a fever. He didn't seem to look all to well but it could have just been exhaustion and not really taking care of himself.

Virgil's hands looped around the nicely knitted purple and black blanket he had always kept in here since the two started dating. After they broke up Virgil just couldn't make himself ask for it back so... he just let Roman keep it. Right now Roman was curled up and cuddling into it, burying his face into it as he slept. It was adorable but also painful to see.

"I guess I'll just put the food away then and you can eat it tomorrow or whatever." Virgil started to turn away only to grimace at the state the room was in. "You really haven't been taking care of anything have you." Virgil sighed as he carefully started to pick things up, making sure not to wake the other up. He had always been the one to do everything when he was with Marcos. It ended up becoming a tick of sorts. Whenever Virgil was upset or overthinking or just emotional in general, Virgil would turn to his tasks, whether it be cooking or cleaning. It didn't really matter.

Virgil picked up a picture from the dresser and he just smiled sadly. It was a picture of the two of them. Roman had taken him out on a romantic picnic date by the lake. They ate in the grass and just cuddled together until Roman convinced him to walk the beach with him. The had taken this picture just as the wind picked up sending their hair flying back as Roman hugged Virgil from behind. The pure joy in both there faces made the picture all the more bright... and it was just laying there upside down on the dresser.

"Well, I can't really complain much. I put mine in my drawer." Virgil sighed as he carefully carried it over to the nightstand and put it back where he knew Roman had had it before. He smiled softly as he just let it sit there for a minute. "I guess that's it then..." Virgil went to leave only for his eyes to meet a small little black velvet box and his eyes narrowed in confusion. It wasn't the same as the box that had his stormcloud necklace in it but what else could Roman have had? His fingers traced the outline of it as he picked it up with a curious frown.

"Virgil?" Virgil laughed at himself Janus's voice rang through the home. He rolled his eyes as he walked out the door to find his friend just standing there as Patton gave his boyfriend a kiss and went to go work on something in the back. Janus's eyes were filled with pain once they met with Virgil's. "Vi?"

"What is it, Jan? You look like you've been crying." Janus wiped his eyes a bit before shaking his head and shoving his phone into Virgil's chest nearly making him drop the box that he had forgotten he was still holding.

"He wasn't lying, Vi."
