"So explain to me again why you chose my room to hang out?" Logan drawled as he shot a sideways glance to see Roman upsidedown on his bed. The dazed and off look youngers eyes actually sparked a sense of worry in Logan as he's never seen Roman so out of it before.

"Everyone else is busy." Roman's voice was damn near monotone as he just laid there looking up at the universe he'd once painted on the ceiling. He'd gone into far more detail then he did with Virgil's room. Logan's ceiling looked like a picture from NASA. It was all intriguing and precise. It made it look like there was no roof at all and you were just staring at the night sky.

"Roman is all well?" Roman frowned as he heard Logan's weird ball chair thing swivel meaning Logan had turned to look at him. "You don't appear to be well."

"I just have a lot on my mind, Lo. I'm ok. I normally go to Remus but he's been dealing with a lot lately and I didn't want to add to it." Roman's eyes darkened as he looked over at the door and frowned even more. "Virgil offered to help but he's busy and I don't really want to bother him with all this anyway."

"Roman, might I inquire why it is you are here?" Roman sat up with a confused face as he crossed his legs and just stared at Logan who rolled his eyes playfully. "I mean at the house. Here... with all of us."

"You mean besides the fact that it's my family estate and my brother is here?" Logan's eyes set with this serious look and Roman frowned. "What are you getting at?"

"It's come to my attention that there may be a set reason as to your presence here Roman." Logan was taken back by the sudden fear in the younger, so much so he actually faltered a bit. "A-A reason th-that you are not receiving assistance for."

"I don't need anyone's help, Lo."

"I'm worried about you, Roman." Roman's eyes went wide as Logan smiled softly. "Even that night was a one-time thing and ended far more... aggressively than one might have hoped... We are still friends. I still care about you, Roman." Logan saw Roman flinch and his heart broke for the younger. Something was definitely going on with him. "Not like that, Roman... even still I worry. If there is something going on, I should hope that you would feel safe enough to come to someone for assistance..." Roman went to say something only for Logan to continue before he could. "... should you need it. I'm not telling you how to live your life, Roman. I'm simply expressing my concern." Roman's just nodded as he looked down to avoid Logan's gaze. Logan just sighed as he clasped his hands together with a small thin smile. "Now that that's over with... talk to me, Roman. What's going on with you? Why are you so..." Logan jumped grabbing a flashcard with a grin as he held it up. "... 'two-faced' with Virgil?"

"What's going on with Roman?" Virgil cringed as he looked away and shrugged. He hadn't meant to bring Roman into it but Thomas had asked how he was fairing with the others and... Well, he may have said he didn't know with Roman. "Virgil, what's Roman doing?"

"Nothing... Nothing. It's just... I don't know." Virgil rubbed his arm lightly as he smiled awkwardly. "What does it mean when someone is kind and nice only to turn around and tease you?" Thomas frowned as Virgil shrugged again. "It's a circle. He's Roman... I don't know. It's just how he is with me. There are moments... a lot of moments... where he'll just stand there and tease me. He'll call me names and jab at me like he's trying to get me upset or something."

"If you want I could talk to him..."

"No. No. No." Virgil laughed confusing Thomas a bit at the smile Virgil had. "You don't have to do a thing. It's fine, Thomas. I actually really don't mind it much. He hasn't said anything too bad yet and if he does he always apologizes."

"That's not the point Virgil. Roman knows better. He shouldn't be..."

"I don't mind, Thomas." Virgil just kept smiling as he rolled his eyes. "It's actually nice... I don't know. I tease Roman back. He calls me Dark and Dreary and I call him Dr. Do the most. We go back and forth. It's... actually kinda... It's our thing." Thomas's eyes softened as Virgil stared at his hands with a fond smile. "And it isn't all the time either. Roman and I have times where we just sit and chat. He'll joke around with me and we'll well watch movies... mostly Disney. It's been 6 months Thomas. If there was a problem... don't you think I would have told you?"

"Virgil, be careful." Virgil's eyes narrowed at the sudden statement-making Thomas tense with nerves. "I love my cousin but he doesn't always make the right choices. In fact... He doesn't ever talk to me about anything. You're the first person he even admitted to having issues with. I don't want you two to end up getting each other hurt."

"It sounds more like your expecting him to hurt me." Thomas shook his head furiously as he took Virgil's hands. "Thomas, what are you saying then?"

"If Roman hasn't... tried anything with you yet then there's a good reason. Forget I said that... The point is... My cousin's been through hell, just as you have. You both fell victim to very BAD coping skills. I don't want either of you to hurt one another because something happened."

"Nothing is going to happen... Thomas, you're the only one that worrying me right now." Thomas let go with a sheepish grin before frowning.

"I'm sorry. I know that sounded cryptic. It's just... I can't really say anything without having facts and since Roman doesn't talk to me all I have are guesses. I worry about all of you, Virgil. Just as I would worry about him hurting you emotionally... I am aware that the same can be said about you. You both are very fragile creatures. Even if Roman doesn't show it, he's broken far more than he lets others believe. Be kind to him... just as I would expect him to be kind to you."

"I can promise you, Thomas..." Virgil chuckled unaware of the man listening from outside the living room door. "Nothing is ever going to happen between Roman and I. We're just friends."

"Just..." Roman frowned as he clutched his shirt tightly feeling his heartbreak in him. "Just friends." Roman shook his head as he walked off leaving the two to finish their conversation in peace. "We're just friends."
