Your apartment was silent, the television set to mute while your face was buried into Jimin's chest. Limbs tightly wrapped around him tightly as your eyes screwed shut, but despite you being asleep, your body wasn't rested at all.

Jimin plays games on his phone, switching between Candy Crush and Subway Surfers.

Once he realizes the time. Jimin decides to switch off his phone. His gaze falls down to your sleeping state. But you were still frowning, lips falling into a pout...and Jimin can't help but feel like an asshole.

All he's ever done was be an asshole, Jimin should seriously realize that none of this was all of your faults. You can't even peacefully go to school - a simple right. And another thing - you cant even simply stay at home.

Home.

Without being attacked.

He sighs before looking down at you once more, allowing his hand to gently move your curly white hair away from your face. The satisfactory emotion overwhelms him as he admires the shape of your eyes, his fingers trace along with your nose, noting how adorable you were at the moment.

"I'm sorry, " He whispers, "God. I am so sorry."

Jimin massages your frown in small circles, allowing your face to relax more and it disappears. The guilt weighing down on his chest. And yet he also can't help but be fearful. Was Jimin always going to remain hidden? How would he be able to live with himself knowing that he is an imposter?

Only Jungkook, His mother and his late father knew. What about his other best friends? They had a right to know - but seeing the way people were reacting with you just scared him and he can't help but be cowardly.

His hand cupped the side of your face, his thumb brushing passed the now dry tear stains.

"I won't let them hurt you, " Jimin mutters. "I promise."

Jimin gives attention to the sounds outside of the door, the sounds of keys hit against the door and Jimin can't help but feel a little bit frustrated. He called Jungkook for hours and this boy didn't even bother to answer it. This is when he knew that he needed to talk to other people - more specifically - Jennie and the boys, to help with taking care of you. He couldn't possibly do it all of his own.

Jungkook and Jennie walk in with bright smiles on their faces, Jennie's face flushed as she closes the door behind her. Jimin watches as the couple mingle, as he realizes that none of them even note of him on the couch.

"Why didn't you pick up my calls?"

The couple looks at Jimin while he stares at them expectantly.

"You called me?" Jungkook quirks, while taking his phone out.

Jennie's face drops as she see's your tiny figure almost well hidden under Jimin's arms. Her feet carry her body towards you and she instantly drops to her knees.

"Is she okay?" She questions before her eyes dart to Jimin. An unsettling emotions hits her and she can't even process what's before her eyes as she see's the dry tear stains on your cheeks. As well as the wet lashes and puffy eyes.

"She was crying..."Jennie says as she cups your face, her eyes meet with Jimin's, " What did you do?"

"I didn't do anything?" He scoffs, "When I came - someone broke into the house. The police came to pick him up. That's why I'm asking why you guys were not picking up my calls. You are lucky I came at the time I did or she would've been dead."

"Dead?"

"Yeah. Dead."

Jennie shakes her head to herself. She instantly blames herself. She should've stayed home instead of going to that date. She should've stayed. Then none of this wouldn't have happened.

She blames herself.

"Thank you, " She gulps, " But I think both of you should go."

"Are you sure you want to be alone at a time like this?" Jungkook interrupts, " I can stay the night."

"Not only that but I just got her stable, " Jimin says, "If she wakes up - she won't go back to sleep."

Jennie bites her lip nervously, watching you as your frown becomes evident again and your arms hold Jimin tighter. She sighs heavily, feeling uneasy but also somewhat settled.

"Okay..."She shakes her head, " J-just. Okay."

Jungkook waits outside the bathroom door. The sound of the shower is heard through the household and he can't help but worry. Jennie has been in that bathroom for more than an hour. He knew how much pressure she had felt lately.

"Jen?" He calls out, his fist knocking on the door gently and he hears as the water stops.

Jennie wraps a towel around herself. Not even caring that her hair was dripping or if she was naked under this cloth. When she opens the door. Jungkook's hearts hurt. Her eyes were bloodshot, lips pouty and swollen from being bitten so much.

"What's wrong?"He whispers before cupping her face.

She feels her eyes fill with tears under his gaze and she forces her head onto his chest. Jungkook dismissed how wet she was and instantly places his chin on top of her head. Her hands take a fistful of his shirt and she instantly bursts into tears.

"This is exactly why I told you that this will never work." She sniffs, " I left her for one night Jungkook. One fucking night and this happens. I'm such a horrible best friend."

"No you're not Jennie, " Jungkook mutters, "Get that out of your head right now. None of this is your fault. This happened beyond your control."

She gulps as Jungkook pulls her away and cups her face once more. He kisses her nose slowly and it causes her eyes to flutter shut. Jungkook nuzzled his head into his forehead and she closes her eyes in comfort.

"Can you sleep with me today?" She sniffles.

And Jungkook nods before getting gently dragged towards her room.
