"I thought you told me everything?"
It was the guilt in his eyes that throws you off guard. You trusted Jimin - gave this man your all with the confidence that he had made himself vulnerable to you the same way you were bare and naked with him. But as you looked at him with the weapon pressed against your face.
You weren't so sure about anything anymore.
All you could think about was the words of Hendary, also with the heavy memory of the night, you first had sex with him. The night where you felt connected with him the most - the knowing feeling deep in your guts about how much you loved him brewing within you in such a way that till this day, it leaves you breathless every time you even think about it.
You asked Jimin nicely to tell you everything and you were sure that he did. You were confident that he did so. But it was that damn look in his eye.
You don't like to question Jimin. It wasn't a good feeling. But you can't help but feel betrayed.
What was so bad about Jimin that he decided to hide it from you? That Hendary had to even warn you about it? You defended Jimin whenever someone tried to throw dirt on his name...was it all worth nothing?
Deep down you didn't want to ask yourself that but you couldn't help it. You love Jimin. You adore him - but no matter what, you can't dismiss yourself like that. You hate lying - you hate liars. There was just no way you were going to brush all of this off just because you love him.
But also you love him, so fucking much that this situation was starting to hurt you a lot more mentally and emotionally rather than physically.
"He has a lot more skeletons in his cupboard than you know sweetheart."
Your eyebrows furrow, suddenly more focused on him rather than the fact there was a fucking firearm against you.
"None of it matters." Jimin mutters, " Angel, none of it matters."
He watches the confusion swirl in your eyes and now you couldn't help but be nauseous. Why was he lying to you? If whatever he needs to tell you doesn't matter - then why are you held at gunpoint because of it?
It was the way the words were easily slipping through his lips. The way the lies escaped from him like holding water alone within your palm. It made you really wonder...
How many times has he effortlessly lied to you before?
"So you think ruining City Hall means nothing? Breaking cars and vandalizing bars while stealing alcohol is nothing? That all it all doesn't matter? Right."
City Hall...
"News that has left the City Shook,"
The reporter dramatically says - standing in front of the town hall with the Microphone in her hand. Jennie walks in lazily whilst you attempt to put your sandwich together whilst your eyes stay glued to the screen.
"Hey my love,"
"Hey,"You mutter.
The screen flashes the sight of the town hall. Windows smashed , red and black graffiti splattering despicable vulgar words.
"We don't understand," The man says," Seoul has invested alot of money into building it. The grand opening festival was supposed to be next week."
"It is reported that the Vandalistic act took place last night. Security footage unavailable and guards no where in sight. Please Seoul if you have any kind of information that could help this case - we urge you to go the closest station and soon as possible to report this. I Witness News, Kim Nayeon - Seoul."
"What the actual fuck?" Jennie scoffed,"After years of the country demanding a city hall - is this their thank you?"
"It was you." You whisper, " You did that to City Hall. All those students...they left me alone because you ruined their cars."
You shove the key into the door, twisting it and pulling it to see Jimin there. You frown at his messy hair, and you couldn't help but ask, "Are you okay? You don't look so good."
The second key opens the burglar bar and you instantly open the door completely. But Jimin doesn't answer your question. Instead, he wraps his arms around you, instantly kissing your forehead. As much as you would love the gesture - you can't help but frown at the small whiff of alcohol that laced his being.
All the times he has left you alone - all those days when he just disappeared...it was making sense now. But you couldn't help but think bout that night. The day Jimin went came to you in the late hours - smelling like alcohol. Until this day... You have no idea where he came from that night.
"I didn't hurt anyone!" Jimin says, coming up to his defense, " I never hurt anyone!"
Sicheng rolls his eyes, pressing against the trigger again. A loud click rings through your ears and you can't help but wince. Jimin takes a step closer to you.
"That doesn't make it right!" You shout, " Do you even know what you put people through? Not everyone is as rich as you - not everyone can fix their things at the snap of their fingers. And bars? People work hard for their money! All on their own. Just because you didn't hurt them physically doesn't mean we can just dismiss that! What the fuck Jimin!"
"I don't do it anymore."
"Stop the cheesy bullshit. You're lucky I'm giving her a moment of truth before I do us all a massive favor." Sicheng scoffs.
"But you still did it, " You whisper, " I asked you to tell me everything and you promised me you would. I believed you. I bare you my love, my body - everything of me. And you still have the guts to not tell me this!"
There was something within in you that was making you feel light-headed...that was making you feel angry. You were fuming - and all the anger was directed towards Jimin. This was a new era in your relationship.
