^*maybe it's the chain...or the cap...or how well the colour black compliments his skin so well...im losing my brain cells.
"You're as unfit as a fat gym teacher."
You giggle as you hear the guy talk down to what looked to be his girlfriend who ran out of breath as she stood next him. They walk passed you and Jimin, hand in hand.
"Wow—okay, shade noted."
"They're so cute," You giggle, watching them walk towards the Ferris wheel.
Jimin strokes your thigh as you lean more into him on the bench, which you been sitting on the fast few minutes. You were exhausted, from the small pain at your hips from last night - staying on your feet was drill you were not ready to conquer. The large pink human-sized Pikachu plushie sat next to you.
Your hand clasps with Jimin's, it was just a few hours ago since you've entered the Carnival in the theme park. Jimin told his cousins to leave you two alone and that everyone should meet at his car at exactly 8pm sharp or they should 'make a plan.'
It was starting to get cold, but yet despite this - the place was full. Mostly with young teenagers and children with their parents.
"You should've dressed warmly, "He ushes, drawing shapes on your thigh, you shudder into him from the goosebumps.
You blush , "I won't get sick anyway."
"But seeing you all warm and dressed up gives me a fuzzy feeling in my chest."
You smile up at him, " You're such a softie - I love it."
He playfully rolls his eyes, but as much as you guys wanted to avoid it - tomorrow was finally the day. Jimin didn't know how to even feel. After spending the day with you - it's slowly starting to sink in that maybe he needs to have a change of attitude.
Jimin hated his mother - but needs to fight his anger away. It's going to hard but he can't let her keep affected him like this, especially after last night. He didn't want to go another episode of last night - the guilt was weighing on him too much.
He could hurt people.
He could hurt you...again.
And the last thing he wanted to do.
"Tomorrow is the big day, " You whisper, looking up to him cautiously, " What do you feel about it?"
He frowns, slightly feeling himself get uneasy at the topic. For the very first time, Jimin will be going to his Father's grave.
"You're going to finally see him, " You bump into him, "Come on talk to me."
Jimin has been thinking about the topic all day, he really didn't know what to make of the situation. It was a moment of relief - this moment was exactly what he needed. His mother had always blamed him for the death of his father - and Jimin felt that maybe seeing his Father's tombstone was going to be enough of a reminder that his father was resting well, in peace, and that maybe he should let all of this anger go.
He purses his lips, a look of uncertainty taking over him while you only stare at his side profile. Jimin releases a heavy sigh and you watch as fog leaves his dark pink lips, you wait for him to talk.
"I think after tomorrow...I'm going to be okay." He grimaced, "I just need to be there, you know? To be able to move on with peace of mind. You get me?"
"Yeah, I get you but, " You say leaning closer into him, his eyes look down at your glistening ones, " What about your mother? Wasn't last night a bit of a wake-up call that maybe you should let all of that go?"
"It was." Jimin acknowledges, " I'm still very sorry about last night - she just put me in a dark place and it allowed me to harm you, it just made me realize that I should stop letting her get to me like that."
You grab his face instantly, pressing your lips against his as your hand pushes his cap back just a little so he doesn't hit your face. It takes him a second to notice what you're doing before pushing deeper into the kiss.
You're just...so proud of his growth.
He was trying to change himself for the better - change doesn't happen overnight and you get that. But the fact that he is willing to try was enough for you to just melt into him.
One thing you have failed to realize was that all growth would've never happened if he hadn't met you. You were the reason why he wanted the change. For that - Jimin will always be grateful.
He's the first to pull away, lips slightly swollen and covered with a small layer of the saliva of his bottom lip. Jimin searches your eyes, looking for some kind of hate or resentment that might've been built from last night but he see's nothing. Your eyes are filled with love as you stare at up with adorness.
"I should make up for last night, " Jimin whispers, giving you a suggestive look.
"My hips are still sore though, " You blush, watching him tilt his head feeling his nose brush passed yours, a small smile plants itself on your face.
"I'll be gentle, "
You push him away, taking your legs off his lap and standing to your feet. You reach down for your large plushie, making sure to adjust your small bag. All he does is watch you not really sure whether or not that was a yes or no. You step away from him, looking around for any of his cousins before raising your wrist and checking the time.
"Well, we have one hour left, " You shrug, taking short steps back, making sure not trip on your feet.
His tongue grazes his inner cheek, a smile starting form.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, " You nod, " To bad that's not enough time."
