"Benji I need you to arrange cleaners for my place" I shout to him across the room
"Wouldn't it be easier to knock it down and start again?" Brodie chuckles
"Very funny" I mutter back
"Why has the sudden desire for cleanliness never bothered you before?" Brodie asks
"Emie's coming to stay, I don't want to scare her off" I admit to him
"Cap please tell me you didn't propose" Brodie teases
"No, well kind of" I shrug as he shakes his head at me "but it was a joke there was no ring. She's just gonna come stay while we are on break"
"You're mad mate, you've known her a week" Brodie tells me skeptically shaking his head.
"Yeah what's so special about this one?" Mick asks not looking at us.
"I want her, I haven't wanted anyone else since I met her. I can't explain it, things are just better if she's there. Like we wouldn't be having this conversation is she was here" I tell him
"Well lucky for us she isn't" Drew smirks
"You barely know her" Brodie tells me
"Could say the same to you" I snipe back
"You haven't given us a chance mate. You've had her locked away in your hotel room" Drew laughs
"I'm more worried about you lot scaring her off than the house" I muter
"Hey we are fucking charming" Brodie exclaims
"You know it would be easier if you would just let her out of the bedroom!" Drew jokes.
"She is there of her own free will." I inform them.
"Are you worried she would choose me over you? Or even worse Brodie" Drew jokes.
"Fuck off" Brodie snaps "she should be so lucky but I'm not really into Red heads" he adds after some thought.
"As if you would say no." Mick chimes in.
"Well no of course not have you seen her" Brodie replies instantly "fuck man that hurt" he mutters after I punch him in the arm
"Don't talk about my girl that way" I snap
"Dinner at the hotel tonight, we will be on our best behaviour" Drew says firmly
"Can't she and her brother are going out" I tell them
"You aren't going?" Drew asks.
"No, he still hates me" I sigh.
"So just us then" Brodie gives me an evil grin.
"Sure" I admit defeat I know when I am beaten.
