This little thought came up a while back. The question; Are you saved? Is heard throughout most protestant churches. The meaning is; have you given your life to Christ.
I have a different look at this question. I want to know if you are safe. You see a student has three aspects of safety: The school wants to insure that a student is safe from ignorance. A home wants to make sure a child is safe from danger, has food and shelter. A church is trying to insure safety of a soul.
