In life there are times you have to make a stand. You have to stand up for yourself and say enough is enough. You have to make a stand because this is your cross to carry this is your responsibility. Although, along the way, others may have helped you with advice or helped you with your cross, it ultimately comes down to you.
Fear is crippling at times or it paralyzes you when are contemplating the thought of the battle that is at hand. To make a stand it starts with picking yourself up, not laying on your back and letting others walk all over you or make choices for you. Have the strength and confidence of knowing who you are, accepting responsibility for what you have done and begin the action of standing.
If you are laying on your back; 1. You take your feet; pull them, heels first toward your backside, until they are flat on the ground. 2. Roll over to your knees and hands are on the ground in a stable position of support. 3. Push off your hands, stabilizing on your knees.4. Put your hands in a praying position and thank God for this opportunity to grow in strength of faith and trust in God. 5. Take you dominant foot, put it in front of you and do the Tebow. 6. Push up off the thigh of you dominant leg and stand strong with both feet. When you have put that second foot down, you have made a stand.
Now before you make this stand, make sure you have your truth clear. What are you standing for? In addition, when you make the stand, be prepared to accept the consequences that may occur. When making a stand you cannot waiver or compromise, you must be strong. You will obtain respect for your decision.
