I don't know has to be countered with F.I.O.
Many seniors are asked what are they going to do with their lives. Many respond with" I don't know" and this is not a bad thing. It is ok. This is part of the growth and development of the character they may later become. The "I don't know" does not have to be some mountain of fear and insecurity. The" I don't know "can be a great adventure or journey that takes you to places you have never thought possible. It is going to be challenging, it could test everything about you and it could bring you to your knees, so hang on. The Google brain mentality is to push a button and get the answer. That is the easy way out.
The F.I.O. is the answer you will eventually come to understand. Figure it Out (F.I.O.). Yes, you can and yes you will. As I heard Ed MyLett say the other day, "DREAM big and then watch," the steps work their way out. Here comes the terminator; what it is, you may ask. The "it "is your life's passion; "it" is your calling, character or purpose in life. The great search can start at any age. To find that purpose that uses every great gift that you were born to use.
I.T.(Identity Theft), As you look around at all the different people that may have influenced you in a positive way, make a decision that you may want to be like them. Look at the life styles. Do the research and make the choice to possibly take the identity as your own. Identity theft (disclaimer- this is not motivation to go out and illegally steal someone's identity causing them economic failure). This is the focal point of where to possibly look for guidance on who or what you want to be.
Seniors are 100% pure potential. Anxieties and fears are stopping these great students from being great adults. So do not be afraid of dreaming, do not be afraid of the challenge. Take steps, work towards the world you want create for yourself and make your way.
You will Figure It Out! I wish you the best and try not to settle.
