A little girl approached me on the Concourse the other morning. She is a little girl that has had her problems. She told me that her pastor said she had a light about her. So I listen to her and wished her the best of luck with where God leads her.
Today 2/18/20 while waiting for the bell the ring for the students to go to class, she came up to me to tell me something. She said she was daydreaming and she had a vision of being on a boat out at sea. She does not know how to swim, so I could imagine the anxiety she must have felt. She said the storm started to come in and then she had a sense of peace. I compared this story to Jesus in the bow of the ship. Then she said; I had vision about Baker High School and it compared to the walls of Jericho. That all the walls of Baker were about to come down and the new ones would rebuild the school.
I thought; how cool is this that a little girl would come up and even talk to me about something like this. I sometimes feel like I am being played, but I have to trust that God has this in his hand.
The statement that this little girl made was pre-pandemic. As I sit, in my room, four weeks into a time that has kept everyone quarantined, her prediction could not be more true. There are no walls at Baker high school because everyone is learning on- line.
