You pace the apartment, your heart races as you think about the test that sits in the bathroom trashcan. You know you have to tell him, he deserves to know but it doesn't stop the sick feeling in your gut as you watch the clock - ticking closer to his arrival home from practice.

Pregnant.

You are pregnant.

You try to think of his reaction but it always comes to the same conclusion: door slammed in your face as he rants about his career. Yixing is sweet, the sweetest man you have ever met but he's just built a name for himself and her you are, bare foot and pregnant, taking away his hard work.

"Baobei." You hear him enter the apartment and you rush to the bathroom to throw up, hoping to mask the noise by closing the door.

A bit too hard.

"Y/N?" Yixing pokes his head into the bathroom to find you with your head in the bowl, hurling up your lunch. "Yaaaah!" He rushes to your side, rubbing your back and moving your hair out of the way. "What happened?" You try to answer but the anxiety and morning sickness keeps you throwing up instead.

Why do they call it morning sickness when you get it all day long?

He stays with you until you finish, reaching over to grab the damp cloth before his eyes fall on the pink end of the pregnancy test.

"Why's there a pregnancy test in the trash?" He asks, his voice uncertain as he reaches for the stick - noticing the clear two lines. "A positive..." A light bulb flicks on behind his eyes.

"I'm sorry." You begin to cry before you can stop the tears, sniffing as you repeat those two words over and over again.

"Sorry?" His questioning tone makes you lift your head and you see the biggest smile on Yixing's face, a smile that radiates joy. "We're having a baby!" He begins to shake, his excitement clear as he pulls you into a hug. "I now have someone else to play my songs too." You can't help but choke out a laugh as the tears continue to fall.

"You can play any song you like baby, just not PEACH."
