You giggled, running around the large shopping area while Jongdae yelled above the noise for you to be careful. You know but you didn't care, you were finally able to experience life out of the mansion you've been cooped up in for so long - as long as Jongdae came with you.

That was fine, you enjoyed Jongdae's company and so having him around was more like a date rather than your bodyguard having to babysit you.

You stand in front of a shop selling different types of ice cream, your eyes widened and you smiled brightly at all the different flavours, the sorbets and the dairy-free, the ones that were new or classic. You were staring so hard that you could feel your mouth beginning to salivate at the thought of having one of these delicious treats.

"Would the princess like a scoop?" Jongdae took you by surprise, popping out of nowhere. "You'll need a bucket if you keep looking like that."

You blushed, nodding in regards to his previous question. "Can I have more than one?" Jongdae chuckled, of course you could, he would never tell you no.

Soon, you were walking through the large mall hand in hand; you didn't quite know how it got to this situation but you were very happy with the outcome. You enjoyed Jongdae's company, his presence always gave you a safe feeling but exploring the shopping mall - it felt a little different.

He could tell that that's what was running through your mind as you subconsciously nibbled on the ice cream cone, eyes out of focus as you walk wherever he takes you. Jongdae could walk you off a cliff and you wouldn't even know it until you began to fall. "Is everything alright, Princess?" You hummed, only just realising you've been chewing on paper.

"Yes, yes, just admiring the busy life of my people," cocking an eyebrow, you could tell he didn't believe you. "Fine, I was thinking about how this seemed more like a date." A grin lifted up his lips, eyes sparkling as the words left your lips.

A date, so you felt it too.

"Is that what you would like?" You stared wide-eyed as he looked around the large mall with people rushing about, "shall we make this trip a date?" You nodded and Jongdae tugged you towards the information sign, "well, no date is complete without finding the movie theatre." He placed a finger on the destination and looked around for the right direction, "shall we?"
