You giggled when you caught him, again, with his fingers in the batter mix. It's the second time you had to make a mix up because the first one ended up only making half the amount due to Chanyeol eating it.
"Babe, you know I love you, but please stop eating all the batter or we'll have nothing to bake." He bashfully smiles, licking his lips as he apologises.
Before going in for another dip.
"I can't help that my wife makes delicious batter," he compliments, holding the finger to your lips so you can have a taste.
"It's bad for you," he shakes his head.
"How can something that tastes so good be bad for you?" You slap his hand away when he tries to get another taste, causing Chanyeol to pout. "Hey, stop being mean."
He bops our nose while you giggle, having to grab the bowl and run away before he can eat anymore - this just causes him to take chase after you. The morning consists of the two of you running around the table, laughing before he gets tired and sits down and allows you to finish making the pumpkin rolls.
"Finally," you stand up, wiping your hands clean after putting the tray in the oven, "after two batches of batter, we have one batch of rolls." You give him a teasing smile, causing Chanyeol's ears to turn red as he looks away.
You grab the bowl and spoon, passing them to him like a mother would give the cookie batter to their child and Chanyeol happily licks them clean.
Baking with him isn't so bad when you see how happy he is afterwards.
