You adopted a new cat from the shelter and brought it home to be a new part of your family and you were so happy to have this new turtle-shell kitty in your house. He was so pretty and so gentle, he loved to sit in your lap and have his ears scratched; his only flaw was he meowed - loudly and a lot.

But it didn't stop you from loving him, from the get go, he would snuggle in your bed and sleep with you while your other two seemed to take naps everywhere else.

You come home one day, exhausted from work and a little out of it - a long 12 hour shift normally does that to you. Once you hallucinated that your yogurt was talking to you; so when you see a man on your couch, watching television and eating popcorn - you put it down to an hallucination.

Until he touches you.

"What the fuck!" You jump away, hitting him and realising that he's an actual living human being - in your house! "Who are you and what did you do with my cat?" You begin to look around for your babies, finding two out of three and becoming frantic when the turtle-shell beauty seemed to be missing. "Where is he?!"

"I can't stay in cat form forever you know, I have human things to do too." He pouts and looks down at the floor, "I thought you'd be happy to see me."

"Why would I be happy to see you? I don't know who you are?!" You become frantic and start pacing when he comes up to you and wraps his arms around him.

He muzzles into your neck, a soft purr coming from his chest as he tries to convince you of his identity. "It's me," he mumbles into your skin, reaching for your hand to scratch behind his ear. "It's Jongdae."
