Kim Jongin || EXO, SuperM || Idol!AU || With You

Jongin smiles widely, showing off his Steamboat Willie to the camera as he continue to make it while singing and bopping along to the song. You chuckle when he has a minor heart attack when dropping a small piece onto his lap; Jongin has a terrible habit of losing things and with LEGO being so easy to misplace, you've told him it's better to do it on the table for that reason.

You know you shouldn't disturb him but you cannot pass up the opportunity to kiss the top of his head as you make your way into the kitchen to fix up dinner. Looking over, you see Jongin's eyes finding yours and you chuckle as you shake your head, he's always hungry these days, so you decide to make him something healthy and delicious.

The smell of seasoned chicken being cooked in the saucepan seems to distract Jongin slightly but he tries to focus on his task at hand. He's meant to be doing this recording for the Global Citizen Project, not wondering about what you're making for dinner. While singing along, giving enough eye contact to the camera and also trying to read the instructions of this piece, Jongin tries and distracts from his soon grumbling stomach.

"How did you like the song?" You turn to see Jongin placing down what's in his hands and focusing on the group chat. You return your attention to the food preparation and faintly hear when Jongin is done by the chair scrapping along the wooden floor. "You are mean." He pouts, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder as he sees you stirring the sauce for the meal.

A soft laugh leaves your lips as you turn your head to the side and look at him. "I'm mean?" Jongin nods, giving you the full force of his pout, "I think it's mean when you sit there, looking like the perfect boyfriend for the whole world to see and I have to restrain myself from coming up and kissing you."

"But you didn't."

"No," you turn in his arms and wrap yours around his neck, "I did because a kiss on the head is restraint."

Raising an eyebrow, Jongin smirks, "what else would you have done, then?"

"This," you kiss his cheek, "and this," you kiss his nose, "and of course, this." Jongin expects you to kiss his lips but he's surprised when you nuzzle into his neck, hugging him tightly which causes him to return the hug. "You sung so beautifully, my love."

Blushing, Jongin mutters a soft 'thank you'. "Nothing like Baekhyun-hyung though."

"Oh yes," you nod, "but at least you remembered the words." You both laugh before returning your attention back to dinner with a certain cuddly bear hugging you from behind.
