You swallow thickly as you're pushed this and that way between all the bodies on the dance floor, holding your best friend at arm's length but also tightly so you don't lose him in the crowd. You have no idea why you agreed to this because you cannot dance to save your life but you were getting over watching your sister hooking up with some random she pulled into the booth and Jongin was more than happy to escape his friend who was trying to convince him to have a threesome with him and some older woman he managed to score.

Both of you are like ducks out of water, but at least you have each other... right?

"Excuse me," this woman touches Jongin's shoulder and you try not to gape at how attractive she is. "Can I steal your friend?" She asks you and you look at her for a moment before you look over at Jongin, who's desperately looking at you like please no.

You smile as apologetically as you can, "sorry, we're dancing together."

She looks you, looks at Jongin and then looks at the distance between the two of you before scoffing. "Well, if that's true, then you might want to stop dancing like two virgins at prom." Jongin chokes on the spit he was swallowing while your cheeks turn red - not that anyone could see in this lighting.

When she turns to leave, she shoves Jongin closer to you and he holds onto you to keep you from stumbling backwards. Jongin looks down at you and the moment you meet his gaze, he cannot help the urge to kiss you; pulling you closer, his lips tentatively brush against yours. When you don't seem to push him away, talking about how friends shouldn't be doing this, he kisses you properly, swaying with you in time with the music.

"Look," he speaks loud enough for you to hear him, "you're dancing."

You laugh, shaking your head and pressing your cheek against his shoulder. This was not how you thought your night would go. "No, Jongin, you're dancing the both of us."
