Corinne

"Hey! Wag nyo naman takutin si Corinne." Pabirong sabi ni Railey habang nakatingin sakin lahat.

"Yeah." Sang-ayon ni Samantha. "Aria should be the one to carry it herself. She's an ass for being the type of girl that makes Corinne depressed for being way out of her league."

Alliston aristocratically flipped the side of her jet black hair.

"Don't be silly, Sammie." Kontra ni Alliston. "Have you forgotten that Aria's strong-willed and independent? I doubt she'll make a mistake with her girl."

Everyone exchanged weird stares. Hindi man nila intensyon pero bahagya akong nailang sa kanila that they were now all talking about their social status. I get it. I get that I'll never be able to stand equal to them.

Nagulat naman ako ng lapitan ako ni Samantha.

"Will you play with us?"

Gustuhin ko man umiling ay hindi ko magawa. She's staring too closely at me. Is she trying to be a tease again? Because if she does, it's truly working.

But Aria.. I felt that painful pang in my chest.

Akala ko dati ang gusto ko lang kay Aria ay yung sabihin nya na mahal nya na din ako. But lately, I realized that I want all of her. I want us to be together for real. Without ifs and buts. Without threats from her family. Posible bang kalimutan ng tao kung ano sya at kung anong meron sya para sumugal sa bagay na hindi naman sya sigurado kung worth it o hindi?

Tila nagising naman ako sa pagkatulala ko nang marahan akong yakapin ni Sam. I can clearly sniff her sweet perfume. If Aria is a mixed of mint and strawberry. Sam's just pure marshmallows. Soft, sweet, and pink.

"So what did I miss?"

Mabilis ko namang naitulak palayo sakin si Samantha nang marinig ko yung boses ni Aria. But Sam didn't budge.

There she was proudly standing at the doorway. She's beside Grant who is holding her hand.

"Stay put." Pabulong na sabi ni Sam sa akin na nakasandal pa din yung chin sa shoulder ko while her arms are wrapped on my waist.

Kahit nagtataka man ay sinunod ko naman ito at hindi ako kumalas. I could hear her faint counting from one to five.

Three..

Four..

Five..

"What the fudge, Sam!" Mahina pero madiin na sabi Aria saka marahas na hinawakan si Sam sa balikat at inilayo sa akin.

Bago pa tuluyang maalis ni Aria yung kamay ni Sam sa bewang ko ay nahuli ko pa ang mahinang pagtawa ng huli bago inilapit yung bibig sa tenga ko.

"I'm really enjoying this. Should we take it for real? "

Saktong natapos niya iyong sabihin nang tuluyang makaharang na samin si Aria.

"Oh, Hi Aria!" Kaswal na sabi ni Sam at ibinalik yung normal nitong ekspresyon na tila inaantok.

There's confusion in my girlfriend's eyes.

"Were you sleeping on my girlfriend's shoulder?" Tanong nito kay Sam.

"Oh, is that your girlfriend?" Kunwaring sabi ni Sam. "She looks like a pillow to me."

There's a glimpse of playfulness in Sam's eyes kahit mapungay pa din iyon at malamlam. She's like a two-toned fire.

"Corinne, You're too thin. Kain ka pa ng medyo madami para magkalaman ka naman. Mukha kang poste."
