"So, ano na nga yung sinasabi mong counter move plan natin?"

Mula sa pagkain ay umangat yung mukha ni Sammie. Sandali syang nag isip.

"Di ba jobless ka na?"

Napatango naman ako. There's no point in denying anyways. Sabi nga nito ay sinabi iyon ni Jen. Sa isang office pa naman kami nagwowork. Ibig sabihin jobless na din si Jen?

"Then why don't you work for me instead?"

"Work for you?"

"Yas." She nods her head. "I'll be needing a personal assistant."

"Personal assistant? Ano ka modelo o artista?"

"Hey, I'm serious."

"Bakit hindi si Jen yung kuhain mo? Di ba friends kayo?"

Ibinaba ni Sam yung hawak niyang kubyertos bago tiningnan ako ng mataman.

"Jen will start working for her family too. Di mo ba alam?"

"May sariling business din ba sila Jen?"

Napailing na lang si Sam na para bang hopeless case na ako.

"Have you even know if what businesses are Aria's family into?"

Dahan dahan naman yung ginawa kong pag iling. Basta ang alam ko lang ang sabi ni Aria, her family won't like me. So there's no need for me to know them.

"Okay, maybe we'll have to start with the basics." Seryosong sabi ni Sam matapos sulyapan yung wristwatch nya. "Aria's family are into food plantation. They owned lands and farms in Cebu, Bacolod and other provinces within Visayas region. Their largest corporation where her father is the appointed CEO is the main producer of canned meat and beverage products."

Napalunok naman ako. There's really no way that they'll like a commoner if ganoon nga ang status nila.

Tinapik ni Sam yung pisngi ko para ibaling ulit yung atensyon ko sa kanya.

"Siguro naman yung Trio of the Century kilala mo na?"

I remembered yung sinabi ni Sandy. Pero hindi ko kilala kung sino sino yun sa kanila.

"That's Railey, Hariette, and Van." Sam supplied na para bang ino-orient na niya ako. "Railey's family owned luxurious brands of cars. Van's into real estates, property lands and malls. While Hariette's owned the largest mining company."

"E yung family nyo?"

"Ours?" Nagkibit-balikat si Sam. "We're just inclined sa medisina. My parents owned labs and drugs factory. Yung iba inclined into drug research but yung parents ko both doctors na mas gustong magtravel around the globe to reach people who needs medical attention."

Napatango naman ako. Maybe it's the reason why Sam has that kind of personality.

"Jen's family is into politics. She's just a low key kaya wala masyadong may alam that her father is a governor. Her father is the closest to Tito Max, Aria's father. Bukod sa pagiging politician, they owned several franchises."

Again, I just nod at that. Sa tingin ko si Jen na yung pinaka attainable sa kanila in terms of money and popularity.

" Si Leigh--"

" Oo, familiar na ko kay Leigh. Sila Pip at Sandy kasi biggest fan. " pagpigil ko dito.

"Montello's are the closest family to us. Kayleigh is a mixture of Rockefeller and Montellos blood. Siguro naman pamilyar ka sa mga Rockefellers? They're the richest family in the history. "
