Napabalikwas ako ng bangon nang maalalang mag-e-empake pa pala ako ng mga gamit ko. Napabuntonghininga ako at dahan-dahang bumaba sa kama.

I tiptoed. Kailangan kong maging maingat sa pagkilos dahil mabilis lang magising itong si William. Well... he has strong senses—one of the reasons why he became my bodyguard.

It's near 1:30 AM. Hindi ko alam kung anong oras ako susunduin ni Mister Salcedo but I am assuming na few minutes later ay nandito na siya.

I just brought some pieces of clothes like skirts and dresses. Nagbaon din ako ng tatlong pares ng sapatos na kakasya for three days. There's also my charger, power bank, and my spare phone. Isang maleta ang dala ko, all in all.

Dumiretso ako sa ibaba upang mag-shower. Hindi ako pwede sa kwarto dahil paniguradong maririnig iyon ni William.

"Hmm..." I hummed until I was finished.

Hindi ko naman kailangang magtagal masiyado. Nag-shower na rin kasi ako kagabi.

Paglabas ko ng banyo, I was in this nice mood. Iyon nga lang, halos mapatalon ako sa gulat nang makitang nasa harapan ko na si Daddy.

Seriously...

Gising na siya? Ang aga naman! Or is this... on purpose?

"Aalis ka na?"

I nodded.

Yeah, he knows. Sa kaniya kasi ako nagpaalam.

"Alam ba ni William?"

I shook my head and sighed. "My conscience is killing me right now, Dad..."

"Pwede ka pa namang umatras."

"Hindi na pwede." Malungkot kong sabi. "I invited my friend, she's surely getting ready now. At saka... gusto ko rin naman 'to."

He shrugged his shoulders. "Okay, just... be careful, alright?"

Humalakhak ako. "What are you saying, Daddy? Wala na si R, right? He's rotten in the basement..." Not literally, though.

"I have a bad feeling about this."

"Bakit naman?"

Umiling siya. "Be safe..."

Tumango na lang ako at muling umakyat sa kwarto ko.

He's acting weird. Hahanapin ko lang naman si Elmrix!

I opened the door nervously. Nakahinga naman ako nang maluwag nang makitang natutulog pa rin si William.

Thank goodness!

Mabilis ang naging pagkilos ko the next few minutes. I just wore a simple blue jeans, a white tube top, and a blue coat that matches the color of my jeans. I wore my stilettos and brought a black hand bag. I tied my hair up and put a light make-up. I left some of my hair strands on the side of my face and then... done.

My phone beeped from my bag. I immediately grabbed that.

There were two messages. It is from Mister Salcedo and Tricia.

From: Mister Salcedo

I'm on my way there.

I typed.

To: Mister Salcedo

Okay. Just don't make any noise. Text me if you are already here.

Ang sunod ko namang chineck ay iyong kay Tricia.

From: Tricia♡

I'm already finished. Papunta na ba kayo?

I immediately replied.
