CHAPTER 38: MEET HIS FRIENDS

KANINA PA naka-alis si Vaughnn matapos niyang kumain at ako naman ay bumalik sa higaan. I want him to stay longer but his meeting was important.

Geez! Me doing nothing just make me think about my foolishness last night.

"Come with me," wika ko at hinila siya patungong kuwarto. It took a minute before my apprehension of what I did dawn to me. 

My eyes traveled to his face and found him reddish. Goodness!

"Oh. . . no. . . I. . . just want to. . . to. . . change your shirt."

That didn't sound right at all.

I could feel the awkward aura enveloping us. And before any thoughts may cross our minds, I hurriedly searched inside my cabinet for some extra large shirts. Nang makahanap ay ibinigay ko kaagad iyon sa kanya.

I sat down the bed and faced the wall.

"I'm done," he said. I turned back only to see him standing beside me.

"This is where you sleep, huh. It is actually my first time being inside your room," aniya at luminga-linga sa paligid. Nawala na ang pamumula ng tainga niya at bumalik na sa dating ekpresyon ang mukha.

But what he did next  took me by suprise. I didn't know what to react. He just climbed up the bed and comfortably rested his body.

"Han? Would you mind laying down beside me."

The thumping inside my chest doubled. Hala! Bakit kaya?  Should I just follow his order?

"Han?"

My gosh! What to do!

Finally, I decided to do what he ask. At nang pahiga na sana ako ay bigla niyang hinigit ang baywang ko palapit sa kanya. I ended up being hugged by him.

"I could feel you getting tensed. Relax, I have no plans of doing what you might be thinking. Sinabi ko naman sa'yo kanina 'di ba? Isa pa, pakakasalan pa kita," sabi niya. It sent pleasurable feelings inside me and I couldn't help but smile.

"Can I sleep with you tonight? I promise to behave."

Goodness me! I couldn't believe I spent the night with him!

Ah! My heart! He was so warm and until morning he was still hugging me! My! Napakuha ako ng isang unan at niyakap iyon. I screamed without sound cause the emotions was too overwhelming. Ganito pala kapag masyado kang kinikilig. I stopped my madness upon hearing my phone beep.

You have plans later sweety? I might have some time off.

I was just thinking of him a while ago and here he is, texting me something that is making my heart tingle.

Pinakalma ko ang sarili at naupo  sa higaan saka nag-reply.

Maya-maya pa ay may nag-doorbell. Tumayo ako para tingnan kung sino iyon at bahagyang nagulat ng makita ang hitsura ni Vaughnn.

"Hey, I thought---" Hindi niya pinatapos ang sasabihin ko at agad na pumasok sa loob. Madali akong sumunod sa kanya.

He went straight to the couch, loosened his necktie and plunked his head.

Seems like he had a tough day.

"I'm so tired of this running around. Why is establishing new business with meticulous partners so tiring," he complained. Nakaramdam tuloy ako ng awa sa kanya.
