CHAPTER 50: HER LOVE

"MABIGAT ka pa rin pala!" sabi ko. He was infront of me, sitting steady while I pedal the bike and doing my best to keep my balance. Nahihirapan din akong makita ang daan kasi nga, may kataasan siya.

"Come on, faster. You move like a turtle," he demanded. Ay, kung puwedi lang siyang kutusan, ginawa ko na.

My legs are getting tired but seeing him enjoy this, gave me energy to pedal faster.

Hanggang sa naabot na namin ang amusement park. It was our last destination for today. Medyo marami na rin naman kaming ginawa. We watched movie and he keeps on kissing me when he had a chance. Natawa tuloy ako sa kanya. This was the very first plan we had before but can't make time for it.

We picked mangoes, actually, ako lang. Sa malamang, I cannot exhaust him. I cooked him food and we went to see flower farms.

Inalalayan ko siya sa paglakad  papasok ng parke.

"Bakit kasi dito mo pa gustong pumunta?" tanong ko. Alam naman niyang medyo maraming tao rito at hindi rin siya puwedi sa mga rides.

"I've never been here since I was a kid. I just want to see how wonderful it is here," he replied.

Really? Ako rin e. Ngayon lang din ako napunta rito. We decided to stroll around and have seen many kids with a smile on their lips. I guess, amusement parks gave them good memories.

"How about we try that," I said. Tinuro ko ang isang booth malapit sa amin at pinuntahan iyon.

"Can you shoot?" I asked.

He leveled his gaze to me and spoke, "Are you challenging me?"

Pinanliitan ko siya ng mata saka tiningnan ang baril na hawak niya.

"If that's the case, then in one, two and three."

We startet shooting our targets, whoever, sad to say, none of us hit a jackpot.

"Sus! Ang yabang mo rin kanina 'no? Akala mo naman magaling kang bumaril, puro palya lang pala," kutya ko. Tumingin siya sa akin saka itinaas ang kaliwang kilay.

"I'm sick, remember?" he stated. Kita mo 'to hindi na lang aminin ang totoo,magtatago pa sa dahilan na may sakit siya.

"Ah iwan, let's ride the carousel. Ay, 'wag na lang. We've done too much today, maupo muna tayo dito saglit," sabi ko. I handed him water which he  accepted. Mabilis siyang uminom na tila uhaw na uhaw.

"Anyway, happy anniversary to us. I love you so much," sabi ko. I gave him a light hug and peck on the nose.

"Happy Anniversary, too baby. I love you so much," he replied with a wide grin.

Kinapa ko ang bulsa ng jacket ko at inilabas ang bracelet na binili kahapon. It was silver plated with a small cup of coffee in the middle.

"Keep this one,"sabi ko. I handed it to him and witnessed his face bucking up. "It is our love magic. Suotin mo 'yan kapag magaling ka na."

"I don't have any gifts for you," mahinang wika niya. Inusod ko ang mukha ko palapit sa kanya at ngumuso.

"A kiss would do," sabi ko. I closed my eyes and even heard him laugh before feeling his lips touching mine.

Iminulat ko ang mga mata at nakasalubong ang titig niyang punong-puno ng pagmamahal. Haist, I really loved this man. Inihilig ko ang ulo sa kanyang mga balikat.

"Isang minuto lang. Alam kong nabibigatan ka sa ulo ko. Madami kasing laman 'to," biro ko. But it was true, I have many things running in my mind now. That includes worrying about tomorrow.
