I wake up on the bean bag and look around. Gus isn't sitting next to me anymore and my brothers are gone. I still feel a little high and drunk. I sit up and reach for my phone. Its barely 3 am. I stand up and walk over to the mini fridge to grab a water bottle and notice Gus sitting at the bar.

"Someone is finally awake"

"Yeah how long was i out?"

"Not enough"

"What the fuck Gus what are you talking about"

"I dont think im mentally prepared to be talking to you right now"

"Gus whats wrong"

"Nothing its just that im falling for you but i mean you cant control the way you smile, you cant control the way you calmly talk, you cant control yourself from being yourself basically. If i fall for everything you do its not your fault you're not trying at all. You even look beautiful when you're fucked up. Watching you sleep on me today was probably one of the most beautiful things i have seen"

"Gus"

"Let me finish"

He takes a deep breath and continues.

"I hate the fact that you're a drug already consuming all my thoughts and ive only tried you once."

I stand there with my hand still on the mini frdge handle looking at the gorgeous boy sitting at the bar on the third floor of my house. Its barely been almost a week and he confessed how he feels. I couldn't think of anything else to do but walk towards him and do the same.

"This probably would have gone longer in silence if I wasn't so straight forward but i just wanted to let you know how i feel. Whenever you talk i get this tingly feeling in my heart. Whenever i hear your music i want to cry at the pain you are clearly feeling. Not only because you feel it but because i do too. You, Gus, you made me feel something when all i could feel was nothing. I didn't even know you then but now that you're in front of me and telling me you like me i cant help but fall for you too. You are the reason im alive. I knew i wasnt alone and now i know for sure i wont be alone because now I physically have you by my side."

Nothing else was said. We sat in silence and i looked up at him. He looked at me and immediately kissed me. He put his hand on the back of my neck. I kissed him back and we made out for a good minute before he broke the kiss and picked me up. We laughed as he carried me downstairs to his room. He placed me on the bed and locked the door. He crawled into the bed with me and kissed me again before stopping to say something.

"Im so glad youre alive or else I wouldn't be able to fall in love with you the way im going to."

"Me too"

He pecked my lips and layed down next to me. He opened his arms and i crawled in closer. He cuddled me and we fell asleeep. I woke up to the sound of banging on the door. Gus jumped up from the bed and threw a pillow and a blanket on the floor.

"Got back to sleep" He whispered to me.

He opened the door and on the other side my older brother spoke.

"Hey man have you seen Astrid?"

"Yeah she's here with me after she passed out and you guys went to sleep I carried her here since her bedrrom door was locked but dont worry i slept on the floor."

"Okay dude just tell her to get some breakfast when she wakes up i wanna ask her sum."

"Okay"

Gus closed the door and locked it againg before walking over to me.

"Morning you want another hour or are you up already?"

"Hour"

"Bet"

Gus grabbed his phone informing me the time was 9 am and setting a timer for 10:15. I was still pretty tired so i fell asleep pretty quick after i got back into his arms. The alarm went off and Gus reached over to turn it off. I stood up and walked to the bathroom turning on the shower. I then walked over to my room and the door was indeed locked. I went back to Gus' room mad.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"My brother has the fucking door locked and i cant get clothes."

"Its okay ill give you one of my hoodies"

I smiled at him calming down and entering the shower.
