I looked at the caller id and it was Zay. I answered it right away.

"Hey Zay is everything alright?"

"Yeah and im sorry for bothering you ive been very hesitant to call you but there's something that's been bothering me and i just had to call you."

"Okay what is it?"

"So um you remember when we went to the doctors."

"Yeah"

"Well they called and said we need to schedule an appointment for an MRI"

"Holy shit"

"Yeah i didn't know it was going to get that serious."

"Yeah me neither"

"So do you want it to be before or after your birthday"

"After please i dont want to worry about the results during my birthday that would be ass"

"Yeah totally. Stay safe alright?"

"Yeah bro im fine."

"Okay well let me know when you're coming back home"

"Okay"

He hung up the call.

"What was all that about?" Gus asked.

"So um couple months ago i had a seizure and i went to the hospital nd shit and then i started having these weird ass symptoms and basically the doctors said that i have POT's syndrome."

"What the fuck is that?"

"Basically if i stand up too fast my heart beat goes crazy and sometimes i'll get light headed out of no where"

"Oh"

"Yeah and we went to a neurologist, the one who said i had pots syndrome, and they said that they might have to tell us to schedule an MRI but they would tell us to if they weren't really concerned about something. And Rawska just called telling me he has to schedule one for me nd he was just asking if i wanted to go before or after my birthday."

"Oh damn and what did you say?"

"I told him that after my birthday"

"Okay well um are you okay and everything?"

"Yeah i dont know if i was ready to tell you all that right now tho."

"Hey its okay it doesn't change anything. I still like you regardless of anything you have. Im always here for you if you need me and you know that"

"I thought you were going to say something completely different. Thanks tho i appreciate it"

"Like i said, anything for you princess."

I smiled at him and he pulled me into a tight hug and i hugged him back. In Gus' arms i felt safe. Like there was nothing in this world that could ever hurt me. Not even myself. He was starting to pull away and i tightened my grip making him wrap his arms around me again.
