The next few days went by quicker than Hyunsoo imagined they would. That was mainly due to her mother getting lazy, only checking up on Hyunsoo when she was already passing by the library and the study rooms. This gave Hyunsoo more of a chance to think about what had happened that night, as well as understand what Hoseok had told her over the phone. She spent this quiet time trying to figure out what it was that she wanted to do with her family, friends, and herself. It seemed that she had been so focused on one problem, she was forgetting everyone and everything else in her life.

There were only two days left until the awaited board meeting - which Hyunsoo wasn't sure about anymore since she didn't know what to do without Jungkook now - when Jimin unexpectedly called Hyunsoo in the late afternoon.

"Hello," answered Hyunsoo. She had been meaning to apologise to him by now anyway, so maybe she could ask him to meet her, and that way she could do it in person. "I'm glad you called. I wanted to speak with you."

"Hey," said Jimin, sounding relieved by Hyunsoo's words. "I wanted to talk to you as well, so this is good. I was actually really worried you'd say no, but, I was wondering if you could meet up with me?"

He beat her to it, she thought, smiling to herself. "Of course," said Hyunsoo.

"I'll text you the address." She could hear him smiling as he said this.

Meeting Jimin required sneaking out from under her mother's watch. The best idea she could come up with was letting Yeonhee and Kenny know where she was going, then having them cover for her. Fortunately, she didn't have to worry too much. Mother had recently become busy with her own matters, so Hyunsoo doubted she'd even ask for her.

The address turned out to be someplace Hyunsoo hadn't been before. It was an area closer to university than her house. It was a park, filled with only green trees and woody paths, providing adventurous spaces for dog walkers passing by every now and then. Jimin was waiting for Hyunsoo at the entrance of the park, hands in his pockets and hood up. He looked like he had thrown on the first clothes he'd seen in his wardrobe, though the hoodie and the trousers made him look very stylish as a result.

She stopped in front of him and said a little nervously, "Hey." She did an awkward wave.

Jimin burst into laughter at her awkwardness and saluted back at her cutely, making Hyunsoo smile sheepishly. "Glad you could make it," he said. "Follow me, I wanna show you something special."

Hyunsoo was definitely feeling more than nervous, and the wave had most likely given it away, but she couldn't help it. Jimin told her that he needed to speak to her too, and she could also guess what it would be about. The thing was, Hyunsoo knew deep down that the outcome of this would be good, but the conversation itself was nerve-racking because this was the moment where they were both going to discuss an issue they've been having, with each other and within themselves.

Jimin started leading Hyunsoo into the woods, walking alongside her and asking how she'd been the past few days. In return, she asked if he had gotten back home safely that night, to which Jimin nodded. The conversation was short and the walk was done mostly in silence, though it wasn't an awkward silence. In fact, it was nice and calming, especially because Hyunsoo was preparing to talk about Jae's party specifically, as well as other things that led to her getting upset that day.

Jimin was equally nervous. He also seemed to be focused on getting to a particular place in the park. They weren't on the woody path anymore, so they weren't passing by any people anymore either. It was just them and the trees all around them, not to mention the birds whistling high up from the branches.

"We're here," said Jimin, finally stopping in front of a tree stump. It was huge, and the biggest one Hyunsoo had ever seen. Jimin patted the top and added, "This is my most favourite place to come to, not necessarily when I'm feeling down, but when I'm feeling anything to an extreme. I could be really happy, and you'd find me here celebrating something." Jimin chuckled.
