The walk to Hyunsoo's house was used well through conversations consisting of mocking Jungkook and his latest date. Now that they were out in the fresh air, Hyunsoo was able to let everything sink in and couldn't believe what had just happened. She hadn't expected her and Jungkook to get so angry at each other, instead she had been planning on ignoring him. So this time, it was going to be quite different then, she guessed. How long would this last though?

Hyunsoo and Hoseok were passing by Jungkook's house – aka where the drug house parties were always held – discussing together how things might continue during badminton practices and her lectures, when Hyunsoo suddenly remembered Darcy's existence. From what Hyunsoo knew, he was really good friends with Jungkook, and he was also one of Hyunsoo's housemates. She wondered suddenly if Darcy was just as close to Jae as he was to Jungkook. It was something that had passed her mind a few times, but she never thought about actually asking to confirm this. Hyunsoo, although feeling a little conflicted, decided to ask Darcy once and for all. After all, she would be seeing a lot of Jae still, whether she liked it or not. And Darcy was practically living with her during term time. This was reason enough for Hyunsoo to know their relationship... right?

The rest of the evening was spent very nicely. They had decided to pay the park nearby a quick visit, before heading to Hyunsoo's room for a movie night. Hoseok had suggested watching Legally Blonde back at the cafe, so while he prepared that, Hyunsoo made the popcorn and got the drinks and other snacks ready. It was fun and relaxing overall, and a nice start to the new semester.

The next day, Hyunsoo managed to catch Darcy just in time before he left to go wherever it was he needed to be. Hyunsoo had been preparing to leave as well, since it was a Sunday morning, and that meant it was badminton practice day, the first of the year. Sunday was a day when there would be no classes, but some sport clubs would run instead throughout the campus. Darcy looked like he was going to one of those. Maybe he was going to play golf – he seemed like a typical rich people sports kinda guy, well, he was.

"Hey, Darcy. How were your holidays?" asked Hyunsoo, trying to make conversation at first.

Darcy had been in the middle of putting his coat on, when Hyunsoo stopped him from the middle of the stairs in her socks. He didn't share the same thought process of being friendly, and looked her up and down as he adjusted the buttons on his coat. "What is it?"

"Uh." She didn't think he'd be so cold to her again. Their last conversation hadn't been too bad. "I was actually wondering–"

He sighed deeply and visibly looked impatient. "Hurry it up please."

How rude. Even if he did say 'please'. This boy needed a slap in the face.

"I was talking," said Hyunsoo coldly. Why were people getting on her nerves recently? "I want to know what your relationship with Jae is."

Darcy raised an eyebrow, before answering, "We're just acquaintances. I don't know him too well, just met him through a mutual friend."

"You have another friend?" she asked, before she could stop herself.

Darcy didn't seem to take this as an offence though. "Well, my cousin to be exact. She tried inviting him to our family events a few times, which he attended only once."

"Oh," said Hyunsoo. She had been expecting something more, but it sounded as if Darcy was giving her the plain truth. There was nothing more to it.

"In my opinion, I find Jae rather annoying. He's the definition of a spoiled rich brat."

"But you're friends with Jungkook," pointed Hyunsoo out.

He simply looked at her in a haha-very-amusing way and said, "Jungkook is different."
