Hyunsoo and Jimin had been on their way to the park near campus to talk and chill a little, before planning out Hyunsoo's studio time together. They had already decided that with the amount of space they had there, and since Jimin was able to access the building as Hyunsoo's art subject, it would be the best place for them to meet up and work on both their final pieces for art and dance

After their lunch at the park, the plan was to check out the studios right away before Jimin's next class. However, Jae's random appearance certainly wasn't in the plan. What on earth was he doing here? Of all places? Did he come here for her? Or was he planning something else?

"Are you here because of my mother?" demanded Hyunsoo again. "Does she have something to do with this?"

Jimin's eyes widened a little in realisation that this guy was someone connected to Hyunsoo's family somehow. He decided to stay quiet, but stood next to Hyunsoo in case she needed help.

Jae seemed to find Hyunsoo's questions amusing. He simply laughed and said, "If that's what you think, then sure."

So, there was a reason, but he didn't want to tell her, thought Hyunsoo. She couldn't think of any need for him to be here so close to her university. Jae didn't even study here, live anywhere close to this area, and he didn't have anyone to visit either.

"Don't think so hard," said Jae, giving her a flirty loop-sided smile. "Wouldn't want you to get wrinkles like that."

One of the security men behind Jae couldn't hold their laughter. Hyunsoo rolled her eyes, but ignored this... for now. Jimin was simply watching Jae with distaste.

"Thanks for the concern," she replied dryly, "I would love to chat more about how caring you seem to be towards me plus a million other girls, but unfortunately, I need to get going now. I'm sure you wouldn't want me wasting your time with such obvious facts, right?"

The same security guy who laughed, looked around at the other men and made a 'oh no she didn't' face. No one else reacted.

Hyunsoo was about to turn around and walk away, no longer interested in what Jae was doing here, since he clearly didn't want to give it away. Though what Jae said next stopped her before she could even take a step.

"That description fits your other boyfriend a lot better actually." He didn't laugh, and yet there was a hint of humour in his tone of voice. "Speak of the devil, there he is."

Both Hyunsoo and Jimin turned around at the same time and noticed Jungkook, Yoongi and Taehyung walking out of one of the restaurants holding paper bags of food – most likely. They seemed to be having fun talking to each other, laughing and quickly heading towards the direction of the campus. They didn't notice Jae and his men at all, let alone Hyunsoo and Jimin.

Although Hyunsoo was indeed perplexed by the sight of Jungkook and the fact that it somehow felt wrong that she was with Jimin while the rest of the guys were over there together (even if Jungkook and Jimin weren't exactly friends anyway), she had a more pressing matter to address first right this second. She flipped her hair back as she faced Jae and said in an icy tone, "Unlike you, I have standards. I'm sure it will be hard to get this through your head, but let me say it slowly for you. Jungkook is not, and will never be, my boyfriend."

Jae's men chuckled slightly, but tried to hold it in, especially after Jae shot them a death glare. Jimin didn't hold back at all. He bellowed out a laughter and slapped his hands together.

Jae smirked then and moved closer towards Hyunsoo. He grabbed the side of her head and let his fingers comb through her hair slowly. "Don't you worry about my standards.  I might even end up coming after you, since you've been quite intriguing recently. We'll see then who has the better standards."
