"ugh."
"for god's sake."
"i hate this so much."
jaehyun chuckled and walked into the room, "honey, why are you so angry?"
haeun turned around with an emotionless expression and stood, glaring at jaehyun, who frowned and cocked an eyebrow at the dress slipping from her shoulders.
"you can't get the zipper?" jaehyun asked, she shook her head.
jaehyun walked over to her, "you could have just asked me, you know?"
haeun waited for him to do it, silently, until his warm fingertips trailed over her back and he trailed kisses on her shoulder.
haeun jumped away and locked herself in the bathroom.
"haeun!" jaehyun called after her. after hearing no reply, he knocked on the door.
"haeun, what's wrong? don't you want to go to the party?" jaehyun asked, through the door.
she still didn't answer.
"did i do something to upset you?" jaehyun questioned.
"haeun, open the door. now," he said.
haeun huffed and opened the door, hanging her head low and trying to get past jaehyun. she failed, he grabbed her arm and looked down at her.
"what's the matter?" he asked. "haeun, you need to talk."
"i don't want to go, tonight," she mumbled.
jaehyun nodded, "i figured. why?"
"because i don't look nice," haeun whispered.
"what?" jaehyun said, not able to hear.
"i don't look good. i'll just be embarrassing you, there. you're better off without me going there!" haeun said and ran off to the bedroom.
jaehyun followed her, looking at her laying in the bed and holding her pillow.
he sat beside her, she faced away from him, embarrassed.
jaehyun stroke her hair, "hey, look at me."
haeun turned around and looked at jaehyun.
"how many times do i have to tell you how beautiful you are, huh?" jaehyun said, with soft eyes.
haeun shrugged.
"beauty isn't everything. i didn't really fall for your looks, you were kinda ...intriguing. anyways, you look great. you always do. and, when we get back, i'll remind you. over and over, again," jaehyun smirked and lifted haeun to sit up and hug her.
she sniffled and pouted, "thank you."
"get ready, we're late," jaehyun kissed her forehead.
haeun smoothened her black dress. the dress had a v-neck and the sleeves were three-quarter length, with ruffles at the end. there was a thin bow at the stomach of the dress and the dress stopped at the middle of her thighs. she paired it with some black heels
she wore light make-up, her hair was down and in slight waves and her gold earrings were dangly.
she grabbed a purse and left the room. jaehyun looked her up and down as he made way over to her. he placed his hands on her waist and pulled her close to him.
"you look so good," he said, lowly.
"jaehyun," she giggled. "you look good, too." jaehyun wore a simple black suit with a white collar-up shirt and silver cufflinks. his brown hair was in a side parting, flattened and neat.
