"I want a freaking safety for my niece, Philip!"

Nagising ako nang makarinig ako nang sigawan.

"So, bringing her back to lola Franchesca is a 'safety' for you?"

I slowly open my eyes and saw my tita Alice with tito Philip, arguing. Hindi nila napansin na gising na ako, kaya nagpatuloy sila sa pagtatalo.

"We all know na she's safer there, Philip." Sabi ni tita Alice kay tito Philip.

i looked at Lye na tahimik sa paligid. Mag-isa lang siya. Where's Rye?

"Tita Alice?" Pagsasalita ko kaya napatigil silang lahat

"Levi? Thank God, you're already awake." Agad na lumapit si tita Alice sa akin.

I'm here sa bahay nila, sa room ng kambal, and I think it is already midnight. Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nakapunta dito. All I remember is umuwi ako and may nagtakip ng bibig ko, then nawalan ako ng malay.

"What happened, tita? Ba't ako nandito?" Tanong ko.

Nagkatinginan naman sila, na para bang nagtuturuan kung sino ba ang magsasabi. Lahat sila ay tumingin kay tito Philip, so he sighed and started to talk.

"Someone entered your penthouse last night. He was caught in the cctv. He was there for almost an hour and half. We are sure that his purpose in not to steal, because if that is his purpose, bakit walang nawala sa gamit mo? So, we assume that he was there to harm you or what." He said, looking pissed.

"Mom! Dad!"

Lahat kami ay napatingin kay Rye ka kakapasok lang ng room, holding a paper. Tinignan niya ako, at lumapit sa akin before niya ako kinumusta. After that, umupo siya sa gilid ng kama before magsalita.

"I saw something sa penthouse ni Levi." She showed us the paper na hawak niya kanina. "I think it's from the guy na nanggaling sa bahay mo kagabi." Tinignan niya ako before handing me the paper. Kinuha ko 'yun at binasa ng tahimik.

'Looks like cupid wants you dead'

"Huh?" Biglang sabi ko.

What does this means?

"Anong sabi?" Tanong ni tita Alice.

Napatingin ako sa kanilang lahat, bago sabihin ang aking nabasa. Kaya sumilay ang pagtataka sa mukha nila.

"What does that mean?" Takang tanong ni tito Philip.

I looked at Lye and Rye, and I can say that they're already thinking of something. Pero they chooses to just shut their mouth because of reasons na I don't know.

After that small talk with them, we decided to get back to sleep na dahil 3:00 am palang naman, so I still have time to sleep. Dito na rin nila ako pinatulog sa mansion nila, because it's safer daw.

Before ako bumalik sa tulog ay tito gave me a wristwatch. It's not just an ordinary watch. It's like a tracking watch? I guess? Sabi ni tito, ipress ko lang daw 'yung side nun if I'm in trouble. And dapat daw, suot-sout ko 'yun palagi. Meron rin daw ganun ang kambal. So tinanggap ko 'yun then I went back to sleep.
