After that confirmation to Zyra, talagang kailangan ko ng panindigan ito.
It felt bad because I am betraying Lorraine behind her back and I don't want Zyra to feel worse.
It is either Zyra or Lorraine or I will lose both at nangibabaw sa akin si Zyra.
I know I am a jerk. A BIG Jerk if you ask me.
I don't think I can last much longer without her by my side.
Desidido na ako na si Zyra ang gusto kong makasama that is why I have to talk to Lorraine now.
"Hon, what do you want for the flowers? Roses? Sunflowers? I think white roses are good with red roses mixed with it. What do you think? Sa food nga pala, we will have a tasting tomorrow. I want you to come. " sabi ni Lorraine sa akin. I feel sorry for doing this but I can't take it anymore. I have to do this now!
"I have to tell you something, Lorraine. " I sighed.
"What is it?" she smiled to me. I sighed once more. I am so sorry, Lorraine.
"I want to cancel the wedding." I blurted it out. Di agad makapagsalita s Lorraine. I know that its so sudden but I can't pretend anymore.
"Y-You want to what?"
Napapikit ako.
I sighed heavily.
"I want to cancel the wedding. " seryosong sabi ko sa kanya.
"C-Cancel the wedding? Do you know what you are saying now is insane?! Cancel the wedding! Are you mad? " Nakita ko na ang galit na tono ni Lorraine pati na ang sakit na nararamdaman nito. Still, I went on. I can't go back now.
"I can't marry you Lorraine."
"You can't??!! Why?"
"I am in love with someone else." Parang naiiyak si Lorraine sa sinabi ko, but before that happened she slapped me which I knew I deserved.
"How dare you! How could you! I've done everything I have to just to make you happy and now, you are gonna say this?"
Lorraine bursts into tears but I did not reply. I can't find the right words to comfort her and I don't know if there are any right words.
Dahil hindi ako nagsalita, nagpatuloy siya.
"Kailan mo pa to ginawa ha? Kailan mo pa ako niloloko?"
Nag iwas na lang ako ng tingin sa kanya. She have that hurt expression which I can't look at.
"Si Zyra ba? Siya ba? Sagutin mo ako!!" I just looked at her but I kept my silence. "So nilandi ka ng babaeng yun? Huh?! I would expect no less from someone like her." Dito na ako nagsalita.
No one had the right to say anything bad to Zyra.
"You better watch your mouth Lorraine! Or else--"
"Or else what? What exactly? No Carl. I won't let that woman destroy out relationship. Never!"
"Wala na tayong aayusin Lorraine! I don't love you anymore. " sabi ko.
"I won't let her win Carl. I won't let you go to her side!" parang baliw na sabi niya. Kinakabahan na ako sa tono at pananalita niya.
"What do you mean?"
"If you insist on still choosing her, I will make sure that she will suffer from it! No one shall take you away from me! I will do everything I can to make them pay! Sisiguraduhin kong pagsisihan niya ang pang-aagaw sa dapat ay sa akin. You don't know what I am capable Carl!"
Sinaklit ko ang braso niya pagkarinig ko sa mga sinabi niya. Ito ang bagay na di ko nagawa sa kahit na sinong babae. This only proves how much her words got through me.
I wouldn't let this pass especially if it involves Zyra.
"You wouldn't dare, Lorraine! Kapag may nangyaring masama kay Zyra, I swear--- I will never ever forgive you!"
"Kung mangyayari man yun, dapat mong sisihin ang sarili mo. Kaya nga layuan mo na siya habang kaya ko pang pigilan ang galit ko!"
binawi ni Lorraine ang braso niya at tinalikuran ako. Bago pa ito tuluyang umalis ay may sinabi pa ito sa akin.
"The wedding will not be cancelled. And if by chance you still insist on doing so, then I am afraid Zyra will have to suffer."
She stormed out of my condo.
Wala din naman akong nagawa kung hindi ay magwala sa sobrang galit.
