CARL'S POV
She's gone. I am not mad at her for taking my car. Its just that she's acting as if we never had feelings for each other.
She's gone and here I ama facing the enraged Lorraine.
"You did not even bother to stop her? And what's that? Yuo gave her the free access while here I amm, like a fool to believe otherwise!" galit na galit si Lorraine dahil sa nangyari kanina. Its not like I can totally blame her but she started it.
"Will you please shut up? Why are you making such a fuss?" Mas lalo lang syang nagalit sa akin.
"Fuss? Such a fuss??!!" I ignored her and just open my laptop to do work. Nang hindi ako nagsalita ay umalis na lang siya at binagsak ang pinto. I just let it go.
Ano naman kasi pwede kong sabihin? Na binigyan ko siya ng access even before we had an affair?
Napaisip ulit ako. Nagpipigil lang ako na yakapin si Zyra. How I wish I can just do that pero hindi. Kung di lang ako pinipigilan ni Lorraine kanina, malamang ay sumugod na ako kay Zyra.
I sighed.
I took my cell phone and dialled her number. Out of reach... Tumawag ulit ako and still yhe same..
Tinawagan ko ang business number niya at nag ring. Ilang saglit pa ay may sumagot,
"Hello..." How I miss her voice.
"Zyra..." I called but no response from her. I knew I shouldn't be doing this. Ayoko ng madamay pa ang pamilya nito. I know how much she loves her family and that's why I have to stay away from her. Well, in fact she is the one who stayed away from me.
Still, I want to let her hear the words..
"I love you..." Yan lang ang gusto kong marinig niya.
Toot...toot...toot... The call ended. Well, what do I expect? I love you too? Bullshit!
She must have hated me for causing her trouble and for her family as well. She must have thought that I can't protect her at all!
Damn! I am so useless!

ZYRA'S POV
"Was that really necessary? " tanong ni Sarah sa akin. Carl called. I don't really have the will to answer but Sarah answered it for me and put it in a loudspeaker mode. Dahil doon ay naririnig din ni Andrea ang conversation namin.
"Hello.." sabi ko. Nasa tapat ng bibig ko ang phone. Katabi ko si Sarah at Andrea. Nasa bahay kasi kami ni Sarah ngayon. They are surprised when I showed up using that flashy ferrari.
I told them the story and they seem to approve my conviction.
"Zyra..." sabi ni Carl sa kabilang linya.I did not answer. I looked at my friends' eyes to seek some answer but it wasn't there. Still, Carl said the three words I have been dying to hear and say to him.
"I love you..." I was about to say I love you too but I held myself back. Instead of struggling, I ended the call. Doon na tumulo ang luha ko.
Pero kailangan kong maging malakas...
Kailangan kong gawin to.
I have to be strong to fet him back...
And in order to do that, I have to meet a certain someone.
Agad na akong nagpaalam sa mga kaibigan ko na uuwi. Despite insisting that I should stay, umalis pa rin ako. Dumiretso ako sa kwarto ko at tiningnan ang naka-fax na details sa akin.
This is the start of my plans..
