chapter 16

Jennie couldn't believe what she was seeing. She was standing in a wide alley, one that was long and completely sheltered.

There were drawings, all randomly planned out and painting onto the wall. Some were large, and really detailed.

There were other smaller ones that Jennie could tell held some kind of meaning. Like an angel that looked like it was falling from the sky. The detailing on the painting was so well.

There was also a little bunny that reminded her of Jimin because it had pink fur, and it wore a pretty smile. Next to the bunny was a really cute bear. It wore glasses, as silly as it looked, it was also kind of mature.

Above the bear was a bird. It was pretty, and tiny. It had speech bubbles and looked like it was trying to speak, but there weren't any words in the bubble. Interesting.

The walls itself was a bricked white wall, perhaps painted on. Since it was light, it was perfect for doing art on it. There was also a roof covering the alley, preventing rain from washing any of it away. Jennie could see why this location was chosen.

There were also words, some sentences. There was so much to look at. What caught Jennie's attention was a large cross, and she gently caressed with her fingers.

"Who said this?" Jennie wondered aloud after reading a quote neatly written on the wall.

Birds should always have the chance to fly. It read.

"I did." Taehyung stepped forward and he stared at the words himself.

She wanted to ask what it meant because it seemed really beautiful. All of this was.

There were scribbles near the bottom of the wall, and it kind of looked like a kid drew on it. There were a few interesting words actually, like Chimchim and V. She didn't know what it meant, but it was obviously something to them.

In awe, Jennie turned to glance at the two boys who she didn't realize had been watching her rather than the work on the walls. "You guys did all of this? It's amazing."

She couldn't believe they basically had an entire building to themselves that they would paint on for fun. Did they have to pay for this or something?

"Well it wasn't just us - " Jimin started.

"A few friends helped us." Taehyung cut in smoothly.

Jennie hummed, pretending she didn't see the way Taehyung glanced at him. "So this is why you bought so much spray paint the other day." She thought back last week, her first time meeting the boys.
