Jenvmin- Jennie, Taehyung, Jimin
-----
Jennie chuckled awkwardly and scratched the back of her neck. "What?"
The two boys shared a glance with each other before looking back at Jennie. Jimin bit his bottom lip. "I like you."
"And I do too." Taehyung...

chapter 17
Jennie could feel that the mood had shifted a little and began to apologize. "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have asked - "
"It's okay Jennie, it's just..." Jimin glanced at Taehyung for a split second. "I think... she's a story for another time."
She felt frustrated. She didn't know if it was in herself for managing to ruin the moment once again, or that she still seemed to know hardly anything about the boys in front of her.
They were so secretive and yet she knew they probably had good reasons. She just had to remain patient and maybe they would tell her when they're ready.
"It's getting a little late." Jennie sighed quietly when she heard Taehyung voice those words.
She knew she had to be on her way back home anyway, considering her stay was much longer than she intended it to be.
The walk back to their cars wasn't as awkward as she'd been expecting. Taehyung was silent most of the time, but Jimin made up for it being his usual cheerful self.
He kept talking about BTS and how much he loved their music. They found out they shared the same bias; Jungkook, which evoked a happy smile from the boy.
When they arrived, Jennie thought they were just going to head into their cars and drive away, but she was surprised when she was pulled into a hug by Jimin.
"I'm glad we met you." He said honestly and stared into her eyes.
"Me too," she said, looking at both boys so they'd know she was talking about both of them.
When he let go, Taehyung was looking at her warmly, the goodbye was told in his eyes, but he also waved lightly. She waved back with a smile.
Taehyung wrapped his arm around his best friend's shoulder, and the two walked to his car. She went into her car so she'd be able to follow them out, and not get lost in some random part of Hoboken.
She managed to successfully sneak back into her home that night, seeing it was 3am. Time went by much faster than she thought.
When she walked into her house, it was dark, and she figured everyone went to sleep already. Quietly walked across the cold floor, entered her room and changed into PJ's. Sooner or later she fell asleep.
---
On Tuesday, the next morning, she took an extra long shower to make up for the day before. She felt tired, much more drowsy than usual. It was moments like these when she was thankful that she had work, which was 6pm, which gave her a bunch of time to relax.
She couldn't stay in her room all day though. She was home alone, her parents both went to the designated jobs and her sister out doing who knows what. That's when she realized it... she was home alone.
Jennie got out of her bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen. She walked into her pantry and stared at the several boxes of cake mix before picking the red velvet flavor. She felt like making cookies today, since she had nothing else to really do.
She'd been baking ever since she was little, it was one her favorite things to pass time. She would sometimes bake for events held in the church like when they had a bake sale or open dinners.
It helped families that didn't have much, and her parents particularly liked it because it brought them a more respected reputation in the church.
This time, she wasn't forced to bake, she was doing it by herself because she wanted to. She took out the ingredients for the recipe and began cooking. One of her favorite kpop groups, twice, was softly playing through her phone as she worked.
She preferred using cake mix to make cookies instead of cookie mix because she found it to be tastier.
She was just doing her own thing, mumbling along to the lyrics every few seconds, when a voice interrupted her.
"Jennie." With wide eyes, she spun around with the spoon in her hand, the powder mix falling onto the floor.
She thought she was home alone.
Her eyes met with 6 eyes staring at her. They belonged to 3 different people, including her sister Jisoo who sashayed over to her. "I'm having a few friends over, don't embarrass me more than you already do."
Then the girl spun around with definition, her hair falling all around her shoulders. Her little trio followed suit, thankfully. Man did Jennie dislike them.
Yeji Hwang was unbelievably annoying. Not only did she have an annoyingly high pitched laugh, but she was also extremely problematic.
She was like a beauty guru who got into drama every other day of the week. She was a catholic girl, and yet she did not act like it.
Rose Park was the other friend, but the one Jennie could actually stand. She wasn't snobbish or rude like the two, she was actually a really nice girl. A bit eccentric, sure, but she would have been much better off with new friends. She was just too naive to realize.
They weren't good influences either. When the twins were little, they were like best friends. She knew Jisoo hung out with those two more than any of her other hundreds of friends.
Considering Jennie had been nothing but nice to her, she figured that Jisoo's friends were the reason why she was such a mean person, and not Jisoo herself. Jennie believed they ruined her sister.
It was about 5 minutes later when there was a ring coming from the doorbell, and loud voices from behind it.
Confused, Jennie glanced up the stairs and saw her twin sister running down with her two friends behind her. The giggles and chatter followed down the stairs and soon the front door was opened.
People who she knew from her college, were now standing in her home, groups of them talking loudly and making their way into the space. It all happened so fast.
Loud music began pouring into the house, and it was not the classical music Jennie thought Jisoo listened to. This, this was rap. With curse words flowing through every sentence. The floorboards vibrated underneath her feet.
There was a party in her own home. Her whole place where there was a large cross on the mount of the fireplace that was now looking down at the adults partying instead of in their own homes on a Tuesday evening.
It all left her shook to the point where she ran out of the kitchen and into her room.
