chapter 3

The university the twins attended was your ordinary state college. Their mother would've preferred them to go to a catholic college, but after Jisoo heard how they had to wear uniforms, she managed to convince her they would do fine at a regular uni.

The twins got out of the car, Jisoo waving at her mother as she drove off. They shared a few classes together, including their first one, Statistics 101. Jisoo already walked off with her three friends whom Jennie secretly called The Pests.

They all looked and acted the very same, gossiped the majority of time during class, yet somehow managed to ace every assignment they were given. Jennie didn't want to admit she was slightly jealous of them.

She trailed behind the girls as they walked to the next class. Jennie checked her phone to see if anyone messaged her this morning and saw a text from Addison. She opened it, glancing up every few seconds to make sure she wouldn't bump into anyone.

hey.
i have something to tell u

Jennie narrowed her eyes at the message, wondering what she could be talking about. but then she remembered what her mother said the day before.

if it's about your brother... i already know. everyone does

Jennie saw an immediate "read" appear beneath her text. She left out a sigh after she saw the bubble appear, signalling she was replying back. But then it disappeared for a second before coming back.

thats not all
we're moving

Jennie stopped in her steps, eyes widening at the reply. She felt a push on her back and she stuttered forward but managed to catch herself.

"Crap! I'm so sorry Jisoo!" Jennie glanced up at the person in front of her, seeing it was Zach, one of her sister's friends.

Zach glanced down at her outfit, a look spread on his face and he smiled sheepishly. "Oh, Jennie. Whoops."

Jennie eyed at his back as he shrugged and walked off. Jennie went back to her phone.
