Jennie chuckled awkwardly and scratched the back of her neck. "What?"
The two boys shared a glance with each other before looking back at Jennie. Jimin bit his bottom lip. "I like you."

chapter 20
Jennie got herself ready the next day when she saw the time hit 1pm. She had tried to make as minimal contact with her family, and was grateful when she didn't run into any of them since yesterday.
As she usually did, she prayed for things to get better, and for things to be different when it came to her family. She still prayed for them to be safe and healthy throughout the day nonetheless.
Jimin texted her and gave a head up on what to wear.
Jiminie: Something nice but not too nice!
She thought it was a pretty straight forward message but it didn't stop her from struggling to find an outfit.
She figured since she was going to work later, she would just bring her Walmart vest and dark jeans to put in a bag for when she went to work.
She searched through her closet, seeing a series of dresses that she knew she wouldn't be wearing. She hated dresses.
Instead she wore slightly ripped dark jeans, and a white beetles top that would go well with her white shoes. She had the shirt tucked in, and a pretty black belt to tie everything down. The weather was starting to get a bit colder, so she made sure to bring a denim jacket.
It didn't take long for her to leave the house. She double checked the door was locked before heading into her car.
In the car, she prayed to have a good day, and that her journey to wherever she was going would be safe. Same with her parents and her sister; that nothing would trouble them that day.
It was a longer drive to her workplace considering there was a bit of traffic. She sat in her parked car in Walmart's parking lot, just looking around her at the many cars that filled up the space.
She checked her phone and saw that it was a little early, and so she opened up her messages and texted the boys that in the group chat that she was waiting.
Without anything left to do, she scrolled through her social media. Jennie didn't follow her sister, and vise versa.
You'd think that twins would be closer than regular sisters, but sometimes it felt as if Jisoo didn't want to be associated with her. Whenever someone asked, they tended to just brush it off with some excuse that didn't make very much sense.
A honk came from behind her, and it was followed by a ping on her phone.
Jiminie- Were ehre Jennieee!!!!
She smiled subconsciously and turned off her car, pulling the keys out and placing them in her back pocket. It wasn't the safest option, but she hated walking around with purses since she tended to forget where she placed them. Her pockets worked just fine.
