-----
Jennie chuckled awkwardly and scratched the back of her neck. "What?"
The two boys shared a glance with each other before looking back at Jennie. Jimin bit his bottom lip. "I like you."
"And I do too." Taehyung...

chapter 22
Fights weren't always a bad thing. That was something important that Jennie had learned that day.
When she walked outside of the restaurant, she saw Taehyung and Jimin rushing after her and asking if she was okay. They were asking if she was okay, despite knowing that she saw what went on in the restaurant.
The two boys seemed closer than they were before. Maybe fights were cleansing, or at least an important obstacle in life that could lead you to getting closer with something.
She hoped that was the case with her family, although it had been practically all of her life she'd been "fighting" with them. She was still waiting for that revolutionary moment where she would wake up, and everything would be okay with them.
They went back to the restaurant, which Jennie was really glad she did. She tried the cherry cola, and it was absolutely amazing and it brought her back to her childhood.
When the food came, she stared in awe at the creamy pasta in front of her. The waiter held the cheese thing over her pasta and she counted a total of 20 seconds before saying "stop." She liked her pasta extra cheesy.
Jimin's turn, he had a crazy amount of cheese, and when Oliver asked if it was enough, he only said: "Don't be shy, put some more."
The rest of the evening was lovely. Throughout dinner they talked about their interests and things they wanted to do in the future.
They kept the topics light and so it was really nice. The food was amazing, as Taehyung said. She was glad that they took her there.
"Was that woman your grandmother?" She asked after swallowing a bite of her pasta. They seemed pretty close, so it was a wild guess.
Taehyung cleared his throat. "Gianna? Yeah, she's a bit... how should I put it - "
"Quirky?" Jimin finished for him and laughed lightly. "I love her."
"And I can tell she loves you too." Jennie smiled at him.
"I wish I had a grandma like her." Jimin said honestly, looking at Taehyung with hooded eyes. He must've seen Jennie's lost look.
"My grandparents... I don't know who they are. I don't know my parents either, I'm an orphan." Jimin said with a smile as he reminisced about something.
Jennie's eyes widened at the information."How long did you live in an orphanage?" She asked hesitantly.
"I lived in an orphanage up until I was, I think 13? I got adopted, but then they put me back in the system after a few months, and I stayed there till I turned 18..." Jimin spoke casually as if it were no big deal. "That was around when I met Taehyung."
