CHAPTER ONE

GIOVANNI was pre-occupied while his secretary is reading his schedule for the whole day. He was thinking about bar hopping later with his friends and flirt with different girls.

"--- that's all for today, Sir."

"What?" his brows frowned. He looked at his secretary. "Can you repeat again?"

"Sir, this will be the forth time that I will read this to you." his secretary rolled her eyes. "Please Sir, listen to me or else I will throw my notebook to your face." his secretary threatened him.

He smirked sarcastically. "May I remind you, Danica Marie de Carpio..." his secretary's full name. "I am the boss here."

"Yeah, right." she made face in so much annoyed to him. "Kung hindi lang talaga ako nangangailangan ng trabaho, hindi ko titiisin 'yang pagka-lutang mo!" Danica shouted. He laughed hardly. Eto ang gusto niya sa trabaho, ang pang-aasar sa pinsan niya.

He gestured her to read his schedule again. Then, that's what she did, she read again his schedule. This time, he listened.

"MAN! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?" his bestfriend tapped his shoulder and they bumped their fist. They are in the bar.

"I'm fine, Richardson. How about you? How was your engagement party yesterday?" he teasingly laughed when Richardson frowned his eyebrow.

"Hindi na matutuloy."

Natigilan siya at napatitig dito. Alam niyang hindi nito gusto ang fiancé pero alam niyang wala itong magagawa para itigil ang kasal, kaya nagtataka siya ngayon kung bakit hindi na matutuloy ang kasal ng mga ito.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't know. Maaga akong umalis dahil may inasikaso pa ko." he said then looked away. He bit his lower lip to prevent from smirking.

Richardson raised his eyebrows on him. Obviously not believing his reason why he left early yesterday.

"Oh, that's why I saw you with Olivia last night, making out in your car."

Fvck.

He laughed because he knew he couldn't fool his bestfriend.

"May mata ka pala." natatawa niyang saad at tinapik ang likod nito para sana magtungo sa counter.

"Yeah right." he heard Richardson snorted.

"Giovanni! Richardson!" pareho nilang hinilot ang sentido nang marinig ang mga tumatawag sa kanila.

Alam niyang papalapit na ang mga ito sa kanila kaya hindi na siya nag-abala pang lumingon. He is busy finding a woman for pleasure tonight. Bumalik na din siya sa tabi ni Richardson.

"Hoy. Masyadong busy ah! Balita ko balak mong mag-expand ng business mo sa Pampanga." Brentison tapped his shoulder and then offered his hand for fist bump. That's their way of saying 'Hi.'

"Oo sana. Kaso---" he cutted off by Brentison.

"Man! Wag ka ng magdalawang isip. I have my business there and I swear," Brentison raised his right hand na parang nanunumpa. "-- its successful now."

Bumuntong hininga siya. Ang totoo, nagdadalawang isip siya dahil pinagpipilian pa niya ang Pampanga at Nueva Ecija kung saan siya magtatayo ng gasoline station niya, that's his business by the way. He has his own company.
