Mackenzie's POV:
After watching movies all night, Luke fell asleep next to me. I was anything but sleepy so I decided to text someone.
hi
hi, are you okay? do you know what time it is?
shit yeah, sorry if i woke you up.. im just not tired ya know. :/ im sorry i'll go..bye
no wait! mackenzie it's okay. do you want me to go over?
yess please :) x
A couple minutes later he finally showed up to the hospital and came up to my room. "Hi" I smiled at him, he looks so cute in his pjs. He didn't even change how cute.
"Hiii." He comes over and lays a kiss on my lips, he's about to lay down next to me but he looks at Luke and just sighs. "Let's go somewhere? Dennys?" I nod and he grabs my hand and we head over to his car, I feel bad for leaving Luke behind. He'll probably freak if he wakes up but I'm sure we'll be back before he wakes up. We drive for a couple of minutes until we arrive at Dennys. "What do you want?" He asks me looking up from the menu.
"I want whatever you're having." I don't want him to judge me if I get something else, what if he doesn't like it? I like him a lot. We spend the next couple of hours eating unlimited pancakes and drinking milkshakes. We also talk all night and I get sad realizing its time to leave. We drive back in silence to the hospital and he drops me off, "Mackenzie I don't think we should be doing this, Luke likes you a lot." I nod, my heart breaking in pieces. I walk away from the car and don't look back at him, I can't let him see my tears. I finally look back when he's driving away. He's gone.
