Once the first years all went through intensive practice for spikes and blocks as well, Y/N decided to call it a day.
She packed up the volleyballs she brought and waved goodbye to Hinata as he pedaled off towards his home. Kageyama jogged away soon after, and it left Y/N and her classmates alone.
"Ano...." Y/N pointed to the exit, "I'm going to leave now. Make sure you get home safe!" And with a smile she turned away and started to run to the gate.
Yamaguchi turned to Tsukishima. "Ennoshita-chan was helpful today, the other first years seem to have lots of potential as well?" He phrased the sentence as a question so that Tsukishima would answer back, but all he received in return was a small nod.
"Tsukki?" Yamaguchi asked. "Why do you think such a nice girl can be so closed off at times?"
The blond boy pushed up his glasses and thought for a while. "She really seems to love her cousin, so her current family situation must be alright." He hesitated.
"I don't know what else, she rarely talks about herself."
With Yamaguchi's lips forming an o, and then looking be away, the pair soon departed the field in silence for the rest of the trip.
It really is strange...
Meanwhile, Y/N was jogging home with a smile spilling across her flushing face.
Oh yes! Finally some emotion out of the beanpole!
Looking at the familiar house that stood in front of her eyes, Y/N shouted out loud in a hyped up voice,
"THE GAME IS ON!"
She skipped inside and leaving her shoes at the entrance as well as her bag, she leaped up the steps and into her room. Blasting her most upbeat playlist, the song Baepsae by BTS played and she danced around the room, screaming the lyrics on the top of her lungs and completely unaware of her cousin laughing his head off at her enthusiasm just next door.
-Time skip-
Carrying her happiness from the successful weekend, Y/N practically twirled across the halls, nothing could shatter her mood.
Even though Y/N arrived early, surprisingly only Tsukishima was in the classroom. Music played through his headphones as he hummed to the song in question.
She recognized the song at once. It was by one of her favorite artists of all time: Park Jimin.
The hums of Tsukishima's husky voice turned into a light sound that seemed to gleam like diamonds, it was so clear.

팔레트 속 색을 섞어 pick your filterThe clarity of each word.... The light beauty of the melody was too much for Y/N.
Though the sound came from her mouth, if one was to ask what happened it would be as if her heart sang instead.
(How does it feel? Not enough yet?)
어때 조금 느낌이 와? 아직 모자라?Tsukishima jolted in surprise because he was sure he was alone but upon seeing Y/N a look of determination to some extent set over his porcelain face.
He yanked out the headphones so the music pulsed through the room and together, they sang.
Each lyric calling out to both of them. Asking what to change so that they would be loved by their special someone.
And as the song finished with it's magical last chords, both students were grinning ear to ear at finding another person who truly loved all forms of music like they did.
I'm sorry of you don't like k-pop but it's the music I know and have the best emotional connection with so please? Also I'd recommend giving these songs a listen if you want!
Tsukishima and Y/N talked endlessly about music and were so absolutely engrossed in their conversation they didn't notice the soft click of a video after it's done filming.
A/N:
Sorry for the short chapter but more music, more K-pop, more -dere side, you get it! So I guess if you don't really like the story it's because it's based off of my personal method of attraction. I love music and it's like it expresses my thoughts and feelings so easily and that's why when I think of any cute, wholesome moments where characters are slowly getting close there's always going to be music.
I thought Filter by BTS's Jimin was a nice fit because of all the Tsundere switches but tell me if you'd like your favorite songs to be featured!
Short chapter, sorry, but cliffhangerssss also I'm getting back to the Haikyuu plot ASAP so does worry!
Vote and comment plz,
