Y/N subtly slid her hand in Tsukishima's as they walked to the gym where they'd be playing. Hinata gasped in surprise at how large it was and his reaction earned a giggle from the girl who had watched from the corner of her eye.

Kenma and Testsurou were watching her with her other family, how happy she was. "Kuroo?" The shorter male said. "Y/N-ie is a lot happier than when we last saw her. It reminds me of the times before her mother had..." He drifted off.

His senior nodded. "Mm... Do you think it could be due to anyone specific? Her cousin over there is of course one reason but it could be someone else as well. Maybe her boyfriend, how'd she put it? The salty beanpole."

Kenma smiled slightly. "No way. You're jealous."

Sighing, Tetsurou shrugged. "Aren't we all?" to which Kenma blushed. But he nodded after a small point. Kuroo looked at him and sighed again. "Let's get ready, pudding head."

The game began, and Karasuno had started the very first point with the freak attack to throw off their opponents from the very beginning. It obviously worked, as the kindly looking Nekomata-sensei looked shocked and called to Coach Ukai, "What the heck was that?!"

Take and Ukai made faces that were somewhere between "I'm intimidating you with my juniors now, aren't I?" and"AHAHA HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW OLD MAN!!!!!" and it earned a wary expression from Y/N at the childish exchange.

The match progressed with Nekoma slowly gaining back resilience, and Kenma concentrated on the fast attacks that Karasuno had thrown at them. Eventually, Nekoma called a time out so they could break Karasuno's stride.

Y/N looked as her senpai gestured to a bright-eyed first year with spiky brown hair.

Soon, the team continued playing. But something was different. Now, that first year, who was a middle blocker, was solely focusing on stopping Hinata's spikes.

The rest of the team noticed, and Inuoka (the blocker) was catching up. There were times where he'd even touch the ball and Kageyama grew more and more concerned, as well as Hinata.

The ball was now on Nekoma's side, and they braced, getting ready for a nice spike. Hinata's eyes looked and he saw Kenma jumping up for a perfect toss. Y/N knew what would come next at once.

The pudding-headed boy performed a perfect setter dump. Everyone stared at him, shook. The setter merely walked back, ready for the next play.

Next, the second touch wasn't Kageyama's so he called for it and he jumped up, delivering a straight shot perfectly along the sideline. Tanaka, Suga, and Asahi all sweat-dropped, unnerved that the first year was really a genius in all areas.

The blueberry-boy turned to Hinata and spoke, "That was called a straight. You should be able to do all kinds of shots rather than just relying on your one deviant quick." And Shoyo bristled.

The next point, Kageyama tossed the ball right to Tsukishima for a solid spike. Blockers jumped in front of the tall male and he curled his arm back... just to feint the ball, lightly tipping it over the net. Kenma looked at him, deciding he was extremely observational and smart with his moves, unlike Shoyo.

"NICEEEE KEIIIIIIIIII!!!!" Y/N shouted, earning a amused glance from Chikara and Kiyoko both.

Before his next toss, Kenma glanced slightly to the right and saw Tsukishima move with it. But the toss itself? It went the opposite direction.

Takeda from beside Y/N observed, "Nekoma's setter doesn't stand out." Y/N gave him a look in defense of her friend that seemed to say, Don't you go there, teach. He picked up right away and explained, "For example, even to a beginner, Kageyama clearly stands out with overflowing talent, whereas their setter, Kozume, though shown he's really smart, doesn't seem as extraordinary."
