Y/N couldn't sleep. It was as simple as that. So she got up quietly, and maneuvered herself around Chikara's body, which shifted as she got up. She walked to the kitchen for some calming tea to relax her body and help her get the rest she needed for the match tomorrow.
After all, even if she didn't play, she was aiming to not seem like a zombie while reuniting with her oldest friends. So she put on a pot of boiling water and waited, selecting which teabag to use.
She hadn't even noticed the figure slinking in the room and watching her sort through the different flavors. She finally decided on a nice peppermint tea and turned around to face the boy.
"GAH!" She said in surprise, almost tripping back but she had caught herself in time.
It was Tsukishima. "Oh, Kei! Can't sleep either?"
He nodded. "And I saw you leaving the room, so I thought your company would be better."
She smiled, and offered him some tea which he agreed to.
At last, it was poured and ready to drink. The pair sat quietly and sipped the hot tea slowly, with Kei removing his glasses as they were fogging up. Y/N found herself staring at his face. When he wasn't surrounded with the constant chaos that was Karasuno's boys' volleyball club, the tension in his face disappeared.
Y/N thought that only Yamaguchi and her have seen him like this, outside of maybe his family only. He turned to her, and set his tea down while pushing his glasses back on his face.
"You're staring." He pointed out bluntly. "Why?"
Y/N smiled. "You're just so pretty."
He sighed at her. "I know."
"Bet you don't know what I'll ask next then." She grinned like the Cheshire Cat.
Kei thought for a second. "If it's asking for the rest of my tea, the answer is no. You make good tea."
Y/N simply leaned closer. She whispered softly, "I know. And you're wrong."
The boy was slowly but surely getting more and more flustered. "A-ano... Y/N?"
"You stuttered." She only came closer, and since they were both sitting down, it was easier for her to stop right in front of his smooth face. "Are you nervous?"
"N-no."
"Don't lie, Kei." She continued, her grin morphing into a smirk.
"Oh, shut up and do it already dumbass." He rolled his eyes at her to bring the focus off of his nerves.
Y/N only continued playing the part of the dumbass. "Do what?"
Tsukishima sighed. Then grabbed the back of her head and exchanged the smirk. "This."
A/N:
JKJK JUST A POTENTIAL SPICE WARNING!
He pulled her face to his abruptly and Y/N gasped at the sudden fierceness behind the kiss. It only continued to deepen as she made the choice of going with it.
He smiled into her mouth as his tongue traced her peppermint flavored lips, asking for entrance. Y/N giggled and bit it slightly, making him gasp ever so slightly, but the noise was heaven to her ears.
Kei had whispered back, "Just go with it, 'kay?"
She obliged at once, hearing that raspy voice she couldn't say no. Their tongues danced back and forth, Kei winning each small battle before they launched into another.
-----Spice ends here!-----
Then they suddenly heard a small squeak and they turned to see Hinata blushing and covering his eyes. Y/N smiled warmly at him while a very frustrated Tsukishima shot him a dark glare.
