Y/N dragged Yamaguchi and Tsukishima down the stretched out hall and burst outside into the clean air with ease despite the two boys' height and strength.

"Ennoshita-chan!" Yamaguchi called out with increasing concern only to have absolutely no reply back. She just kept her stride until finally she reached a tall tree with a large umbrella-like foiliage where she usually sat to eat, and Y/N let go. However, the second she her hands left her classmates' her body collapsed at once and soon she was on the ground in a sobbing pile of Y/N.

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi turned to each other and seeing as Yamaguchi was starting to panic and even Tsukishima's golden eyes filled with worry, they bent down next to her and tried to lift her back up into a sitting position to help her clean off.

"G-Gomen'n-nasaiiiiiii!" Y/N sobbed out. "I don't want to cry anymore....."

Before she could say another word Yamaguchi pulled her in for a tight hug and Y/N gasped into his warm embrace, but soon folded into the hug, her sob slowly ceasing but the tears didn't stop their steady flow.

Another light pressure was added to the hug as Tsukishima came in as well, wrapping his long arms around the other two and Yamaguchi started to cry along with Y/N as soon as he joined.

Nobody noticed that in the middle of the hug, Tsukishima's phone had fallen out and his brand new playlist titled Y/N had started playing. Louder Than Bombs by BTS was now beating at full volume while the trio clutched each other close.

Louder than bombs I break!

"Tadashi....Kei...." Y/N cried out. The use of first names was only to be expected after the support they provided for her. "I don't deserve such precious people in my life!"

쏟아지는 아픔들 (The pouring pain)

To that, Yamaguchi's breaking voice only replied, "Y/N-chan you deserve the world and more, bakaaaaa!"

네가 지었던 그 표정이 (The look you made)

그 표정이 아니란 걸 안 그때부터 (From that time on, I knew it wasn't that)

Tadashi and Y/N stopped crying at last and the three slowly loosened the hug, when Y/N noticed something.

"Kei-kun... Are you crying?"

Tadashi's head snapped back to his friend who was furiously wiping tears off of his flushed and blotchy face.

"N-no! Damnit!" He took off his glasses and buried his head deep into his hands. "How do you just bottle up everything inside! It hurts us, too. Don't think we can't see you flinch every time you see us celebrate during practice, you absolute idiot!"

Y/N smiled and leaned over to hug the tall male, tears resurfacing on her eyes. "Kei- just like fireflies. You shine brighter than any of us... You're really cute, you know."

Tadashi sobbed again at seeing his childhood friend finally crack and the group hug was completed again with his addition.

"D-don't call me cute, moron."

And those five words shattered the ice layering around Y/N's heart for good. If the saltiest, coldest boy she knew cared for her, then maybe things would turn out alright in the end after all.

The tense environment again slowly eased and everyone gradually calmed down, they sat in a triangle and ate while their puffed eyes started de-swelling after a while, the playlist still going on. There was no talking, but the silence was peaceful, not awkward in the slightest.

The bell rang and the trio, upon realizing that they'd be late, sprinted back to the classroom at once.

Before they entered, Tsukishima held Y/N back for a second. "If they ever give you crap again, remember we have the rest of the team and you know how protective Suga-san can be."

Laughing, Y/N nodded and pulled Tsukishima back inside.

Suzuki was still angry as Y/N could see, but did she really care? Nope.

And that free feeling of just not caring anymore lasted her through the day and through the first part of practice, when suddenly a man with glasses and a green tracksuit suddenly burst into the gym.

Daichi went to greet him and said, "Ah, sensei! What's up?"

The man said excitedly, "We have a practice match with another high school called Aoba Johsai!"

The team collectively gasped and Sugawara said, "Seijoh?! Such a strong school! Did you beg sensei?"

The man pushed up his glasses and said, "Even though I'm good at begging, I didn't have to this time."

Then he turned to see the first years and apologized for not introducing himself. "My name is Takeda Ittetsu and I'm the club supervisor.

The first years bowed back in turn and Takeda-sensei looked up as if he suddenly remembered something.

"They do have one condition, though."

Daichi looked at him in confusion. "Condition?"

"Yes..." Takeda said slowly.

"They want Kageyama as the setter the whole time."

A/N:

Ok sorry if anyone disliked the my part of the chapter but like me being the emotional wreck I am I cried re-reading it.

Also, Seijoh's practice match is coming up, so that'll be fun 😏.

I don't have much of a comment this chapter but sorry it was a bit on the short side!
