For the sake of progressing the story along and managing the whole double plot, at this point in time it's been a few days since the concert, Keishin Ukai (grandson of the Coach Ukai that led Karasuno to it's only ever nationals) is now on a trial basis coaching Karasuno until the Nekoma practice match. It is now the first night of the Golden Week training camp.

Time had just seemed to flash by as a new and exciting chapter opened up for the Karasuno boys' volleyball club. They finally had an official coach with experience, though Y/N was helpful when she tried as well. And now, they were no more than a few more days away from playing their old rivals, Nekoma High School.

Y/N still couldn't believe that she had enjoyed a nice concert with her, what is it called, boyfriend? The word was so nasty and cringe that it didn't fit whatever relationship she had with Tsukishima. Y/N pondered, but gave up. Nothing really fit just yet. They were of course officially dating, but neither of them really thought it was important to announce. 

The truth was, though, that both Kei and Y/N secretly enjoyed keeping a comfortable relationship that was just them.

Chikara and Y/N walked beside each other, laughing at some random meme that was on his phone when they arrived at the lodge they'd sleep over at during the camp. Hinata's eyes widened and he jumped inside, opening all the rooms and marveling at every. single. one.

Y/N giggled at the childish act and Kageyama, following behind, just grumbled. "The bathroom too. Really?"

Hinata only rolled his eyes. "In middle school, I didn't have any training camps. This is my first one!"

Kei, who was walking with a curious looking Yamaguchi, made a face. "What's so great about a bunch of dirty guys in your face for a week?"

Y/N pouted, "What about me then?" 

He just turned away, flushing a soft pink as he walked away with his friend. Unconsciously, she smiled, and both Shoyo and Tobio caught it. 

"Y/N-chan! Y/N-chan! I knew it!!!!" Hinata bounced around the girl energetically. 

Oh no. "Knew what? I don't know what you mean." she pretended to be oblivious, and it being Hinata, he believed her.

"Oh. Well guess I might be wrong. But it totally looked like you and Tsu- mmmfffffmfm mfmfmfmfff mffff!" Y/N's hand covered his mouth instinctively.

"Nope. No idea. Let's eat."

The meal was cooked by Kiyoko and it tasted like heaven was channeled through curry and rice. Everyone ate well, especially Tanaka, Nishinoya, Hinata, and Kageyama. 

After everyone finished, Shimizu said her goodbyes and left to go home, as she lived nearby so there was no need for her to stay. Tanaka and Noya both started to tear up, but Y/N simply hugged her senpai.

"I'm still here so it's not a total loss. And be grateful for Shimizu-san's amazing cooking." The two looked better.

Tanaka rubbed her head. "Yeah, you're right! We'll just see her tomorrow!" and he and Nishinoya ran off to the baths.

Y/N, knowing she'd have to go right after everyone, walked to the small room where she'd sleep alone. It was right next to the rest of the team's room so it wasn't completely terrifying, but still scary. Maybe she could crash next to Chikara instead...

Daichi peeked into the room. "Ah, Y/N! The third years finished with the bath and you can go. I'm sure everyone went, so you don't have to worry."

She smiled and nodded, grabbing her change of clothes and slippers. The bath house already had towels, but she had brought her own just in case. Peeling off the sweaty uniform from the day, she slid into the peaceful water, still warm.

~Time skip by like a few minutes~

The bath was finished, and Y/N hopped out to change. She drained the remaining water and wrapped her hair with the towel as she changed, then letting it loose after her shirt was pulled over. Y/N slid on her simple, blank, slippers and walked into the dark halls. 

There, she saw Hinata and Tanaka talking, and she asked what was wrong. The younger one said, "I saw someone, they were like a child?" It gave Y/N a chill. 

Then, they heard someone say, "What are you guys talking about?" They all turned and Hinata and Tanaka screamed while Y/N's soul just left her body, leaving a shocked and empty shell of Y/N behind.

Then her soul noticed something. 

"Waitaminute... Noya-senpai?" 

Tanaka regained his posture and whacked Hinata in the head. "Idiot! That's just Noya!" 

"But-" Hinata stuttered. "He shrunk!!!" They looked and sure enough, his hair was down, making him look shorter than usual. Tanaka laughed while Y/N thought for a second.

She patted the steaming libero on the back. "Senpai, you look really cute with this hairstyle."

He calmed down and swelled with pride as he blushed. "Y/N-ieeee! So precious my kouhai is!"

Suddenly, a satanic giant appeared on Nishinoya's other side. "Be quiet... Or Daichi'll get mad."

Everybody screamed at this, way louder than at Nishinoya, as he worriedly tried to explain, "Wait! It's me, Asahi!"

Daichi shouted from somewhere, "EVERYONE OF YOU, SHUT UPPPPPPPPP!!!!"

True to her inner coward, and Asahi's scare, Y/N ended up taking her stuff to the boys' room to sleep. She wedged herself between Chikara and Kinoshita-san as the latter let out a surprised squeak while her cousin sighed and moved closer to give her more warmth. 

And with that, the crows slept peacefully that night. All of them unaware of the struggles yet to come as a familiar, cat-like smirk marked the face of someone plotting one of their sure downfalls.

Wondering if the last bit was extra or not, but here's a shorter chapter so I can bless you with a double update soon uwu.

I feel like I got the hang of this so you'll be seeing a lot more of your favorite irritating Author-chan for a while.

I've spoiled you too much T^T. The Nekoma match is coming up and that's always a fun batch of characters so we'll see how well I can put them into words.
