Life can be funny at times. One moment you're absolutely elated, the next heartbroken. Yet whenever you feel like you're being ripped apart, it only gets worse. So uh... thanks a lot for that.

On Y/N's side, her emotional trainwreck of a high school life was about to plunge even further downhill.

Testing was finally done after a long time preparing. Since Stingyshima refused to help Hinata and Kageyama study, Y/N decided to annoy him by spending time helping out. Kiyoko had found a third manager and she also joined in on the studying.

Unfortunately, Hinata and Kageyama still failed. Of course our amazing protagonist was successful in all her subjects, but she felt bad that her friends wouldn't go on the ride with them.

Then Tanaka, everyone's favorite senpai, appeared. He set up a way for Hinata and Kageyama to get to Tokyo for the training camp via his sister's van.

That's what led Y/N to volunteer to stay back. Besides, she missed Saeko Ne-san. Apperantly, Saeko missed Y/N too as she doted on the younger girl.

"When did ya get so mature, huh? Just look at your-" Saeko rambled on her drawn out and loud voice, just the same style as her little brother.

Y/N embarrassedly whispered, "Saeko Ne-san! Not so loud......" Only to be met with a pinch on the cheek and a roaring laugh.

Suddenly, an energetic duo came sprinting out of the building and stopped in front of the car. Y/N waved to them and called, "Yo! Failure boys! Get in the car!"

Saeko introduced herself and both Tobio and Shoyo were blown away by her amazing coolness. They all climbed in the car, Hinata in front with Saeko who was driving. That left Tobio and Y/N to vibe in the back.

Instantly though, both Y/N and Tobio as well as Hinata went flying to the side as Saeko made a crazy sharp turn at a speed that Oikawa could respect.

Once they hit the highway, Saeko calmed a bit down and Y/N found herself losing consciousness. Soon, she was fast asleep. Saeko changed lanes and Y/N tipped over, falling right into Kageyama.

So while the girl slept away, her setter friend's face started resembling a tomato more than it's blueberry style. Saeko caught it and laughed slowly to herself as she saw Kageyama yawn as well. Just as he fell asleep as well, Saeko changed lanes again, making him fall over, too.

Shoyo snickered at the setters lying there cuddled up next to each other and took a picture. He decided to show Kenma when he met up with him.

However peaceful Y/N looked though, her dreams were anything but. This time she was in a hospital room, floating around as if she was in a memory. Kei was on the side of the bed with his head resting across the person inside the bed. His eyes were swollen as if he cried himself to sleep, his shirt dirty and caked with dried blood.

Y/N peered over the bed to see who was the patient and gasped as she saw-

The lithe girl jolted awake, startling Tobio. Saeko was talking to Shoyo, so neither of them noticed that the other two had woken up. The blueberry boy handed her an onigiri as he munched on one as well with a small whisper of, "Are you okay?"

She shivered and nodded, then bit into her onigiri.

He whispered again, "If you need anything, I got you. Alright?"

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, quietly laughing when he stiffened up. Soon, though, he put his head on top of hers and they finished their snack.

They arrived in Tokyo and Shoyo, Tobio, and Y/N burst through the doors. The way the sunset hit them made them look angelic almost, and they speed walked over to where Karasuno was getting ready for their set against Shinzen.

Shoyo and Tobio put on yellow pinnies and joined the rest of the players while Y/N walked over to Kiyoko and Yachi. The managers caught up on the matches that passed, Karasuno losing each one so far.

Surprise surprise, the deviant quick was a great attack that Shinzen had actually almost got, touching the ball in the last few points. Karasuno got their first win of the camp regardless, and Shinzen started their flying laps.

Since it was late anyways, everyone started wrapping up. Y/N ran over to Tetsurou while Hinata went to Kenma and they caught up on what was going on in their lives. Shoyo showed Kenma the picture and the pudding headed boy turned to shoot a poisonous glare at Kageyama from across the gym.

Y/N told Tetsurou the funny parts, with Oikawa and Saeko's crazy driving habits, to Yamaguchi and Hinata's kiss, receiving his creepy ass hyena cackle. She also told him about Semi, which made him smile a bit, then the entire Kei story.

"Y/N-ieeeee why?!" The only words he could muster. The girl just shook her head. Before she or Kuroo could respond though, a super energetic owl-looking dude popped up next to Kuroo.

The cat and owl gave each other their weird smiles and... some kind of bro hug? The other guy looked at Y/N and asked (extremely loud), "Oya oya? What's a pretty girl like you hanging around this hentai of a senpai?" He pointed to Tetsurou and Y/N couldn't stop her laughter. Well, he wasn't wrong was he?

They exchanged names, his was Bokuto Kotarou. "Nice to meet you Bokuto-senpai!" She smiled at him.

"Bokuto-san..." A deep, tired voice sounded. "We have to... go...." Y/N turned around to see the most beautiful boy she's had to have seen for real. He had short, dark hair that slightly curled and exhausted blue eyes set in a smooth, pale face.

He looked at Y/N and she looked back. "Eito...." The girl nervously hummed, as the boy started blushing redder than Nekoma's uniform. "I'm Ennoshita Y/N from Karasuno.... Nice to meet you?"

He immediately said back, "Akaashi Keiji. I'm the setter on Fukurodani. Yeah it's great to meet you."
