"So let me kiss you until I'm drunk on your taste."

Kei was lit only by the moonlight piercing through the exposed window, each highlight of his face shining. Yet in all his ethereal glow, nothing shone brighter than his eyes at that moment. Full of raw emotion, as if he would go crazy at any second, he looked bewitching. It was enough for Y/N to let out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.

Reaching her arms up and snaking them in the back of his soft hair that she loved so much, she smiled. "Then do it."

Those eyes, those oh-so-gorgeous eyes of his glistened. "Arigato," He leaned beside her ear and whispered softly. "Y/N-chan."

Then their lips met in a crashing embrace as Y/N ran her hands through the golden curls and as much as she wanted to cry tears of happiness that he was back, he made a mistake, he loved her for goodness sake, she held it in. Instead she closed her eyes and kissed back as if it was their last.

"I love you," He'd murmur in her mouth, making the girl smile. "I really really do."

Y/N just pulled him closer. "I know."

Kei broke the kiss, their lips making a soft chu before he rolled over next to Y/N. She asked anyways though, the doubt that couldn't leave. "What was the paper, with the names, all about?"

He whispered, voice breaking a lot more now. "I heard the boys in the class talking about the bet, and I was upset." The usually strong young man quivered like a small boy. "I didn't want anyone to take you from me, someone who didn't even like you. I asked you out before a single one of those nasty perverts could get near you."

The middle blocker's eyes were spilling tears that glistened like diamonds as they caught the light. But Y/N reached her hand out, wiping them away. "I'm sorry...."

They curled into each other's be arms, both their eyes puffy, both their hair a mess, both exhausted, and drifted asleep.

Because their little imperfections made them all the more beautiful.

Little did they know, someone had heard what they said and had tears and a heartache themselves. After all, the one they had loved for too many years had fallen deep....

For another.

- Morning -

Y/N woke up with a soft groan, still tight in Kei's arms. The scene was familiar, though she couldn't quite place from when. This time, though, the blocker's eyes were open and he smirked seeing hers open. "Wa-"

"If you make a Stray Kids reference right now Tsukishima Kei I swear to Asahi I will push you off this bed no hesitation." She tiredly deadpanned and felt a rumbling laugh from the warm body beside her.

He smiled. "As much as I'd love to talk with you about everything in that sentence, we have to get up for the second day."

Sure enough, Y/N checked her phone from the small table beside the bed that held Kei's glasses as well. The time read 6.30 AM, so Y/N told Kei as well.

But she felt him hugging her back and decided what's a few more seconds?

"Y/N get your lazy-" A tall, bed-headed captain walked in the room. "Oya?"

Bokuto popped his head in and saw the scene. "Oya oya?"

Kuroo finished with, "Oya oya oya?" And fist-bumped the other dude.

Y/N sat up and glared at him, grabbing the pillow and flinging it at her old friend's head. With a final scream of "BEGONE THOT!" Y/N had successfully berid herself of a cat and an owl.

With a final sigh, she got up. "Let's go."

They got dressed and washed up separately, then met again at the cafeteria for breakfast.

Walking back feeling fresh, Y/N ran into Tetsurou and she glared at him again, only to get a snicker in return. "So did you guys finally-"

"No."

"You sure about- OW!" The cat-perv  shouted in pain after his kouhai stabbed a pressure point on his side.

They entered the gym before Tetsurou could get even, so they both retreated to where their respective teams were. However, when Ukai and Takeda both saw Y/N they immediately insisted she go to rest for the day.

"I feel fine, really-"

Kei seemed to materialize right then and he bent down to Y/N's level. He whispered harshly, "Go get some rest, you fainted just yesterday."

And maybe it was the competitive spirit lingering from the past few days, or maybe it was that stubborn top energy upset about not being released that made her grab the collar of his shirt and pull him into her mouth at once.

He turned as red as Nekoma's jacket and she whispered back, "I don't think so Saltyshima."

She let go of him and almost as if he was dizzy, he shook his head and walked back on the court, still red.

Y/N turned back to the teachers and bowed, but responded, "I feel much better now if it's okay for me to stay."

So they played, and though they won some, they lost a LOT more. The three managers worked hard and got lots of notes taken on each of the players' strengths, weaknesses, and best combinations.

Watching them do their flying drills Y/N found herself looking back at Kei, the small beads of sweat falling as he slid smoothly onto the floor. Oh, to be the floor.... The girl bit her lip.

After what felt like no more than a half hour, the day was over. Karasuno waved their goodbyes, excited for the longer two week camp coming up in a few days.

They loaded on the bus and Y/N pressed the play button on Psycho by Red Velvet, letting it pulse through their shared headphones. They almost instantly fell asleep as the song started coming to a close, falling into each other's support. They both had the same words on their minds before they lost all consciousness.

I love you.
