Before Iwaizumi and Y/N both could wrap their heads around where they were going, Oikawa had pushed them into his car. He then quickly walked around to the drivers' side and hopped in, slamming the door and revving up the engine. The car flew and all three screamed at the speed, though Oikawa's was of delight and the other two were clinging to various parts of the car for fear of their lives.
Once they pulled onto the highway, Oikawa blasted some extremely upbeat EVERGLOW at full volume. "You're so done done done...." The beat blared and Y/N thought more than once, heck yeah I am....
Iwaizumi was paling by the second and Oikawa just happily sang along, the fierce tune really did match his eccentricity. Y/N closed her eyes, a similar feeling knotting in her stomach as if she was riding a roller coaster. "OIKAWA-SENPAI CAN YOU SLOW THE HECK DOWN THERE'S NO WAY THIS SPEED IS LEGAL!!!"
But the car wasn't moving anymore. Oikawa was stepping out of the car, and he glanced back at the mortified-looking kouhai of his. "But we're here aren't we?"
She looked to Iwaizumi ahead and he looked back at her. They exchanged a knowing glance and stepped out of the car, though still slightly trembling.
The trio walked down the halls and past the various stores filled with all sorts of different items waiting to be sold. Oikawa would frequently tug on Y/N's sleeve to look at some pretty clothes or jewelry which Y/N nodded to but said it was too expensive.
However, out of the corner of her eye, Y/N spotted a shop that seemed to be glowing with attraction. It's simple exterior design was tasteful and made her go tingly all over. The sign on top spelled out in the most beautiful letters, "Bubble Tea Galaxy!" and had a pattern of stars and marbled purples and blues swirling across the store.
Y/N turned to Iwaizumi and nudged his arm for attention. When he looked over at her she pointed to the store and seeing her eyes sparkling in direction of the drink he showed Oikawa who beamed as brightly towards it.
Seeing the pair like that Iwaizumi sighed, helpless. "Fine, I'll pay."
They selected a table which had four chairs as the other open tables only had two seats or four. Y/N went up to order, and her eyes settled on a bunch of pastries in a glass display case. She ended up ordering a milk tea with extra sugar for Oikawa, a lychee tea with no ice and mango jelly for Iwaizumi, and a passionfruit tea topped with pudding (really good surprisingly) for herself.
They sat at their table and talked animatedly, they ended up on the discussion of Kageyama. Oikawa huffed at his name, and Iwaizumi laughed, causing Y/N to stare. "Crappykawa here used to be jealous of Kageyama in middle school and at one point almost hit him. I had to punch him in the face to snap him out of it at the last moment." Oikawa blushed, embarrassed and Y/N thought for a few seconds.
"Yeah, Tobio does have a sort of overwhelming talent that is extremely hard to ignore, but he really used to look up to Oikawa-senpai." The two third years perked up at the last sentence. "Tobio learned how to serve and block from Oikawa in middle school, and still regards your talent as a setter able to provide for his teammates perfectly in a way that maximizes their strength as above his own. Also he's really sweet inside, even though he never had that many friends. He's awkward at times but he tries really hard and it's inspiring."
Oikawa had a sort of guilty look, and Iwaizumi was laughing his head off at Oikawa, teasing him that he neglected one of his many fans. The fan thing brought back the memory of Tanaka and Nishinoya saying Y/N had a bunch of admirers as well and she ended up laughing too.
Suddenly, a voice called out near them, "Semi Semi who are you looking a- OH! You're Oikawa and Iwaizumi from Seijoh!" They all looked up to find a tall, lanky boy with red hair spiked right up with a mouth like a cat's and wide eyes before them. Beside him was a shorter boy with grey hair that was darker at the tips styled similarly to Shoyo's who had a confused face and had a pullover that had "Shiratorizawa" embroidered in small letters on the front.
