Sameer prepared a list of close friends and clients of Nanu for whom they have to send gifts personally. Rohan & Sameer decided to go to Mr Kumar's house who is very close to Nanu and not well from last few days. They reached their house which was fully decorated and filled with so many ladies roaming around.
Sameer asked from a servant, "humein Jagdish uncle se milna hai, please bula denge".. servant direct them to his study. They greet him and handover the gifts given by Nanu.
Uncle, "arey beta baitho thodi der, bas tumhari aunty ki pooja khatam ho jaaye toh unse bhi mil lena.. voh kya hai na aaj pooja hai toh bas saari ladies kuchh jyaada hi busy hai".. he laughed but Sameer denied politely on his request of staying back showing urgency of reaching factory back.
Rohan said while sitting in car, "yaar kya jamghat tha na lady's ka inke ghar mein... itna saj dhaj je kaun pooja karta hai... ek baat bata, kya Naina Bhabhi aur Preeti bhi aise hi chamkile kapde pehanengi shaadi ke baad... mujhe toh dekh kar hi sar chakra gaya..." they both laughed making fun of the over-dressed ladies and reach back factory.
Sameer tried calling Naina, but she was in midst of doing pooja (katha) so didn't picked up the call, "lagta hai so rahi hai isiliye phone nahin uthaya... koi baat nahin thodi der mein try karta hun"... he joined Rohan and they start completing pending jobs in hand...
In evening they came back home bit late fully tired when saw Nanu resting on sofa closing his eyes, bit more tired and lost....
Rohan, "kya hua Nanu aaj aap kuchh jyada hi thake huye lag rahe ho... maine kaha tha na ki din mein hi aap ghar chale jaao, aap hamari kahaan sunate ho"
Nanu smiled back, "arey nahin beta, yeh thakaan nahin hai, bas aaj tumhari Nani ki yaad aa gayi, voh bhi aaj ke din aise hi meri lambi umra ki dua maangti thi aur dekho khud uski umra kab chhoti ho gayi pata hi nahin chala... chalo jaao tum log aaraam karo mein apne kamre mein ja raha hun, thodi der akele rehne ka man hai aaj.. tum log khaana kha kar so jaana"... saying this he left for his room...
Suddenly something strikes in their minds, Rohan said excitedly, "achchha aaj karwachauth hai.. like voh jo movies mein dikhaate he, wahi jo wife apne husband ke liye vrat rakhti hai"
Sameer dreaming thinking about her, "haaye... Naina kitni pyaari lagegi jab mere liye vrat karegi.. par nahin mein usse poore din aise bhukhe pyaase nahin rehne dunga... agar jarurat padi toh usake liye mein vrat rakh lunga..."
He starts missing her more but his mind drifted into assumption, "kahin Naina ne bhi toh vrat... nahin nahin agar rakha hota toh batati na, mujhse kyun chhupayegi... par nahin yaar ho bhi sakta hai, vaise bhi itna sharmati hai kuchh batane mein, aur haan subah bhi toh uska phone aaya tha aaj... vaise toh kabhi aise subah phone nahin karti... mujhe laga hi tha kuchh kehna chahti hai... oh god, kahin sach mein usne toh yeh vrat ... matlab really tabhi subah se mujhe usaki itni yaad aa rahi hai... shit ab kaise pata karun, aasani se toh batayegi nahin..." he rushed to his room and dialed her number but bad luck, picked up by Taiji... he disconnect the call to avoid any trouble for her knowing Taiji's evil behavior towards his girl.
Rohan asked concernedly, "kya hua bhai, achanak bada pareshaan lag raha hai"
Sameer told him about his doubt, he asked, "par tujhe kaise pata ki bhabhi ne rakha hi hoga pakka... kya pata tera vaham ho"
