Chapter Six: Starry Night

I was at the entrance of the lovely hotel. I looked back at my messages and saw that this Inkling or Octoling wasn't really specific on where to meet them. Naturally I texted back.

Y: Hey, I'm at the entrance of the Hotel. But you never specifically told me where to meet you.

tnegA: Oh, my bad. Meet me on the Rooftop. Sorry about that, and I want you to sit under the f/c umbrella.

Y: Okay I'll see you in a bit... Stranger...

After the kinda awkward conversation I made my way to the rooftop. As I was walking up the stairs I felt something form in my stomach. I clutched my side and remembered this feeling.

'Nervousness'

Out of all things why do I feel nervous? Maybe this was a bad idea. I should head home where it is safe. I thought about It but realized that this person has my number and could possibly track me. I began to look at my options and just decided to meet them. As I walked to the roof I was the sky. It was beautiful. The way the stars were complementing the dark sky was breathtaking. I was too busy looking at the wonderful sight that I ran into someone. I looked up to see and Octoling with an Afro. He smiled and chuckled.

"Hey love might wanna watch where you go." He gave a toothy smile. "The name Is Afro, or Burns." He smiled, giving his hand for me to shake. I took his hand and he shook it quite enthusiastically.

"Y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Well, it was nice to meet you Y/n. But, I should get going. See ya!" He smiled before running off to Cod knows where.

As I was looking for a f/c umbrella I saw how beautiful the lights looked in the night. I finally saw the f/c umbrella and sat under the object. I began to stare at the Starry Night sky. I seemed to get lost in the dark night with flicks of stars.

"Excuse me is this seat taken?" A voice asked.

The voice quickly took me out of my trance like state and I looked at the person.

"Oh no y- Hachi?"

"Hi Y/n! I didn't know you were gonna be here." He smiled his adorable smile.

"Oh I was gonna meet someone here. What are you doing here?" I asked, happy that he was here.

"Oh, I love to look at the night sky on the rooftop of Albacore Hotel. It makes me feel closer to the stars." He explained.

'Too cute!'

"Excuse me, would the lovely couple like to get some food or drinks?" The waiter asked. My face turned a light f/c at what he called us. Hachi began to laugh nervously as his face turned a light magenta.

"Sorry to burst your bubble but we aren't together Sir." Hachi said, still nervously laughing with his face turning darker magenta.

"Oh my apologies, you two just look like you'd make a great couple." He complimented. My face was at this point a very dark f/c.

'Please make this stop!'

I was too busy freaking out that I didn't hear Hachi order a couple of things.

"So y/n, who were you going to meet?" He asked as he played with his sleeves of a jacket he was wearing.

"Oh it was just a... friend." I replied.

"It seems that you don't know who you are going to meet." He chuckled.

"Yeah, you caught me.. A number texted me and told me to meet them here. And it looks like they are a no show." I said looking into his red eyes. He smiles and looks into my e/c orbs.

"You want to spend time with me?" Hachi asked with his face turning magenta once again.

"Sure, I don't have anything to do." I smiled and moved my f/c tentacles out of the way.

"Your T/s is cute. It complements your skin tone. A beautiful s/t." he said with a smile.

"I um, Uh... hmm. Thank you." I stuttered, blushing a dark f/c.

I looked back at the sky so he wouldn't see my blushing face. I looked at the stars scattered across the sky.

"The stars look amazing tonight, huh." He said looking in the sky with me.

"It's breathtaking." I replied.

I didn't realize that Hachi's food had arrived and It seemed neither did he. He scooted closer to me and put his and on mine.

"Just like the o/i in front of me." He said with his face a bright hue of magenta. Without thinking I grasped his hand harder.

"I-I.... um t-thank you... I don't know what to say.." I stuttered.

'Oh my Cod! Did he really say that?! What do I say to him?!'

"I'm sorry! I just think you are just that and maybe you would want to hang out more. Maybe our teams could meet." Hachi said, looking into my eyes.

"I don't have a team. And I would like to hangout with you and meet your team." I said, without stuttering surprisingly.

"Perfect! Let's eat the food and I have a special place for us to go next!" Hachi said with a sparkle in his eyes.

I smiled and began to eat what he ordered and talked to him. We laughed and shared some embarrassing stories. Once we finished Hachi called the waiter over and paid the bill.

"Hachi, I could have paid for half. It's the least I could do." I said as he pulled me to the exit.

"It's okay! It's my treat! Now let's go to the place." He said as he ran down the stairs, dragging me with him.

"We could have taken the elevator." I chuckled.

"Too Late!" He laughed back.
