~~Art isn't mine :)~~

I was thrilled to see that the team was happy to see such a sudden change in Ray. What I wasn't excited about was that it was because he was forced to. Yet when life throws you a curveball you just have to roll with it. Ray's scowl looked more and more intimidating the longer he has it on, it has me quite concerned. I saw Hachi and his team sit down in the now building crowd.

"Who knew that this many people wanted to see this!" Sancus beamed.

"I want to say it's because of the little meetup Ray and Jean had.." Cara spoke.

"So Ray, mind telling us the other teammates' names?" I asked, waiting for both an answer and the team.

"Well, the leader is Jean, his girlfriend is the inkling girl and her name is Vera. As for the last girl her name is Scarlett." Ray spoke, not changing his face.

It was strange. His voice was deeper and he looked more upset. When he replied to my answer I honestly thought that another Cephalopod was talking to me. It was strange but let's just hope that this new Ray can battle like normal. I sit there watching the time basically click by. Sancus was cleaning the scope to his sniper. Cara was checking if her flings weren't rusty. As for Ray he seemed a bit off and I didn't like it. I continued to mess with my F/w and saw the crowd cheer. I turn my head around to see Jean, Scarlett, Vera, and a new squid. I look back at Ray to see his resting bitch face. Jean walked up and showed a bit of surprise on his face.

"Wow, I didn't think you were going to actually not wear a mask. It's nice to see what our work has done." Jean snickered. Ray just rolled his eyes and grabbed his hero shot.

"Let's just get this over with. I don't want to see your face any longer." Ray spat at the team and walked away. Sancus, Cara and I followed him  to our side of the map.

"Yo, Ray, you need to snap out of whatever trance you're in and you need to put your head in the game." I spoke crossing my arms.

"They aren't going to play far, that's why i'm irritated at the moment." Ray finally spoke in a nicer, more calm tone.

"How so? It's going to be kind of hard to cheat on a Turf war." I spoke as we made it to spawn.

"They've done it before and I  just want to say I want you three to avoid Jean at all costs. He will cause harm." Ray explained.

"Got it Ray! Avoid the mean inkling!" Sancus spoke in a cheery tone.

"I understand Ray, we will avoid him." Cara smiled with her gap.

The three of them then looked over to me. Sancus gave a 'please just agree' look and cara just nodded her head to just agree.

"If he comes to me I'll fight him. Other than that, I'll avoid him."I replied.

The two inklings gave a sigh of relief and waited at spawn. Ray walked up to me and put his gloved hand on my shoulder.

"You remember what I said to you when we first met?" Ray asked.

That was very out of nowhere but nonetheless I replied.

"Uh I think so... Something about an Inkshot right?"

"I said, I won't do anything to harm you. I'll take an Inkshot for you." He chuckled. And that will never change for as long as you are my friend." Ray continued. "And, I know that there is another Octoling that would do the same for you." Ray smirked and walked over to the other two. My face was dusted with a light f/c. I shook my head and walked over to them to start the match.
