_________________&&&___________________Next month came. After that flight from New Zealand, Selah and Lilo didn’t anymore talk or see each other personally if its outside their marriage deal. Selah had arranged a meeting with Lilo’s attorney about the conjoined properties they have after marriage. The attorney also assured that all bank loans and debts of her family would be paid full as to what in the contract stated.
The night before their wedding, Selah stayed in the mansion with her grandma. They both prefer a garden wedding inside the mansion for their ceremony and invited only their family and closest friends. An hour before the ceremony, guests were already waiting outside the mansion. Looking at them one by one, she realized that most of them were from Lilo’s side and friends from the airlines. Unintentionally, she noticed from her glass window the lady who waved at her last time. She didn’t bother to entertain any thoughts in her mind.
As she headed down the staircase, she could see that some of the guests gasped at her while she slowly taking each step of the staircase. Her smile was so infectious and that perhaps light up everyone around her. She didn’t know the extent of her beauty because since her father died, no one ever complimented her aside for being cold outside. But for her dad, no artist could ever perfectly paint a picture of her.
Selah has an alluring charm and beauty. Simply staring at her could make you believe that some things were perfectly made like her. But her strongest asset is her eyes. They were unimaginably attractive.
As she smiled to the crowd, her eyes were sparkling in the golden sun. Her white dress was no doubt perfectly embraced her body despite of its minimalist design. She has a slender waist like water cascading from a waterfall. The bend of her hips were perfect as if carefully carved out by the artist. Her glistening skin specially complemented her body. Selah was physically flawlessly made.
It wasn’t long before the ceremony started. If it’s real, perhaps Lilo would silently wipe his tears while waiting for her to walk in the aisle. Unfortunately, it’s all arranged. Actually, not only the guests admired her beauty but Lilo as well. Deep inside, he couldn’t deny the fact that her physique was more than enough to make head turns. Her charm feature made him look away difficultly. He knew to himself that he was attracted to her the moment he saw her in his room that night. But, he never run his feelings to be deep to her after all, their wedding is different from those who should be really celebrated.
The garden was full of guests impatiently waiting for the bride to finally walk down the aisle. The music is melodious and the judge who would be officiating their ceremony was indeed in his best mood to officiate it. The crowd cheered for them as her grandma finally gave her hand to him.
“If there’s anyone who objects to this marriage, let him speak now or forever hold his or her peace.” The judge announced it to the crowd.
As Selah looked at the crowd’s reaction, the lady, sitting in the last row of the seats gave a scornful smile.
“If there’s no objection from the crowd, then let’s proceed with the vows.” He continued.
They were both slightly nervous when the judge announced the objection of their marriage. There was an uneasy silence.
Selah and Lilo exchanged their vows to each other and signed their marriage certificate. They took pictures with their family, friends and well-wishers. After that, Selah went to her room to dress casually and comfortably. She was about to untie her hair when Lilo knocked on her door.“Can I come in?” the man asked her politely.
Instead of untying her hair, she left it at ease. She went towards the sofa and sat against him. Lilo appeared to her holding some documents in his hand.
