Two weeks had passed. Lilo and Selah were back from their trip and to the mansion. Though this time was a whole different thing for both of them, they still managed to act as if nothing had happened between them.

Lilo was inside his office since he doesn’t have any flight schedule; someone came knocking at his door. It was Leigh, his secretary.

“Good morning sir.” Leigh greeted him. He just offered her with a look. He motioned her to sit down.

“Mr. Saavedra, these are the documents you needed for the board meeting this afternoon. Attach herewith are your schedules for the next two days since I would be away for a training you sent me in last month.” She said formally.

“Hand it over to Selah. Before you leave, file a request to her department head that she would act as my temporary secretary while you’re away for the training.” He said.

Leigh’s reaction was unbelievable. No one ever took her position when she has some training off the country. Lilo or his dad managed themselves well while she’s away to them.

“Sir, are you sure?” she asked to verify it.

“Yes, you may leave.” He finally said.

It was noon time and everyone in the advertising department was off for lunch. Selah remained in her seat to finish the needed documents for her presentation tomorrow to Mr. Perez. Suddenly, someone came knocking at the door and it was Leigh smiling at her.

“It’s already lunch time, why are you still here?” she asked.

“I’m not hungry and I need to submit this today for checking before I have my presentation tomorrow.” She smiled at her.

Leigh was a bit hesitant to hand her the appointment letter as a temporary secretary of Mr. Saavedra. When Selah noticed it from her hand, she looked at her with curiosity.

“Do you need anything?” she simply asked.

“I’m not sure how to say this, but, Mr. Saavedra asked me to hand this to you before I left for training tomorrow. It’s an appointment letter as his temporary secretary. I’m sorry Selah. I know I might ruin your schedule for the next days.” She said.

Selah was a bit startled of the short notice. But, she remained calm and composed herself as she reached out the letter.

“It’s okay. Have a safe flight then.” She simply replied.

Leigh left the room as soon as she handed the appointment letter to Selah. It wasn’t until the sky outside her window was getting dark that the door was open again. It was Ellie standing at her door. She just looked at him and froze at a glance. Ellie did the same that made Selah’s face slightly frown.

“What are you doing?” she asked coldly at him.

“Visiting?” he replied.

“Am I sick? Are you my friend?” she directly asked.

“Ouch! You’re too harsh!” he replied.
Selah just gave him a smirked then back at typing her presentation.

“Are you that busy not to get out in this room and have some lunch?” he asked while walking towards her table.

Selah was a bit surprised after asking that.
“How did you know then?” she curiously asked.

“Well, it’s because I’ve visited Lilo a while ago but you weren’t there for lunch. Then, I bumped into Leigh in the corridor and I asked her where to find you. She gave me little directions towards here but you seem very busy earlier. I’m sure you didn’t notice.” He said.
